it's freezing out here...Jesus it's in the 40's.
they could see their own breath in the air.
well from what they can see, their only light was the big moon in the sky.

they cleared their throat before looking down from the building, specifically the oversized cartoon prop warehouse.
they could hear voices inside the warehouse, they couldn't make out what the voices were saying but one specifically made them grin, the boss of the establishment.
they slowly opened a small vent up on the roof, dipping their legs in first before crawling in through the vent quietly.
inside the cost vent it was more warm, almost toasty. of course the heater was on, they always kept it on so that, an elephant specifically, wouldn't freeze.

fleegle's ears twitched before he froze and looked around.
Fleegle scanned everything carefully with his suspension.
" you okay Fleegle? " bingo asked before Fleegle held his finger up, ordering him to stay quiet.
the splits waited around him quietly before he looked at them all, his grin growing.
" they're here " he said lowly before he suddenly chuckled and continued on the conversation like it was a normal night.

" well gentlemen I figure it's about time we start thinking about shutting down this old warehouse for the night. " Fleegle spoke normal and loud, the other splits smirked at each other before engaging the conversation.
( your / name ) rolled their eyes before they instantly landed behind a bunch of boxes that hid them very well.
they looked over to see the splits all walking towards the entrance, talking as if they didn't suspect anything.
" yeah fleegle, I sure am getting tired " Drooper said before fake yawning, he stretched his body and bingo gently smacked his stomach.

" hey! " Drooper said before bingo laughed, they instantly went around each box and started to pocket all sorts of goodies and treasures.
their ( short / medium / long ) tail tucked in towards them while trying desperately to be quiet, they even bent down and pressed their paws on the floor to be a little more sneaky while shoving things down their ( sweater / shirt ) to make more room.
" hello goodies " they whispered before smiling big to themselves, feeling the jewels in between their fingers before slowly standing up straight.
all sorts of colors.
Ruby red.
Emerald green.
Baby blue.

( y / n ) could make a whole fortune out of these, they smirked before suddenly feeling their body being tugged and shoved onto the wall.
some of their goodies fell out of their pocket as they got lifted off the floor.
( y / n ) struggled and grunted before coming face to face with Fleegle, which he sighed with irritation.
" ( y / n ). good to see you for the 75th time " Fleegle said with sarcasm, he crossed his arms and glared at the thief.
even then, he had to admit that they were pretty ( handsome / beautiful / good looking ).

( y / n ) grunted before gently hitting their head on the wall and forced a small smile.
" hi fleeg. is that a new fur style you got on or you got a new bald spot? " they asked before snickering to themselves at the joke , Fleegle sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose.
" come on ( dude / dame ), I ain't in the mood for this. " he said, bingo's and Drooper's grip tightened on their arms and they grunted, gritting their teeth from the pinching pain in their arms...even getting a tattoo didn't hurt this bad.
" what's the matter, old man? rusty joints? late on your medication?" ( y / n ) asked before laughing, the other splits snickered and looked away, trying not to laugh. Fleegle growled and said " old!? I'm a good 36! " as he pointed at them.
" you better stop insultin him now " Drooper said, getting a hold of himself before him and bingo glared at ( y / n ), they grinned and looked at the lion.

" or what, hm? You gonna kill me? " ( y / n ) asked sarcastically, finding this whole interaction to be pretty dumb.
you'd think being pinned up on the wall by two men and being face to face with another would be terrifying but to ( y / n ) it's like a game of checkers.
the biggest challenge of ( y / n ) all was to steal from these guys, to which they called themselves the banana splits.

they have stole so much things from these dudes that it was almost expected, these guys planned on ( y / n ) to visit every three times a week, if not more.
Fleegle finally got fed up with this childish mockery.
" that's it I've had it " Fleegle said before shoving their head back on the wall, the force was a lot to make an echo noise around the warehouse, ( y / n ) grunted in pain and yet again gritted their teeth, having a staring contest with him.
yeah... hehe he's pissed.
Fleegle moved his hand to the wall, the side of their head, and said " if you give us the money you stole, I won't break you in half ".

( y / n ) made a toothy grin while slowly leaning into him, his heart beat started rising and the rest of the group looked at each other in shock confusion.
" sure thing~ here " they said lowly before spitting at him, Fleegle yelled out and stumbled back, trying to rub the spit off of him.
Bingo and Drooper gasped before letting go and running towards Fleegle, ( y / n ) fell on their butt and grunted.

" AH THEY JUST SPAT AT ME " Fleegle said before growling and rubbed his eyes with his arm before looking around.
they were gone.
" where'd they go!? " Drooper asked before a loud whistle came from up, the four looked up at the celling and sat ( y / n ) stand there.

they giggled and leaned down towards them all while speaking.
" sorry I can't stay for awhile, Fellas~ but I have a date with someone. and ( his / her / their ) name is destiny.
Call ya later if I remember. " they said before blowing a kiss and then instantly leaving. smoke left out of Fleegles ears as he muttered in anger ,, his fists tightening.
" I know I say this a lot... but I'm going to kill them " Fleegle said, huffing in anger.
" they're getting away. " Drooper said before looking at Fleegle. " should we go get them? " bingo asked.

and Fleegles answer... shocked the three of them to this day.
" nah " Fleegle said before taking a big breath, the three hummed confusion, he shrugged and said " we'll get them next time... ".
" that's what you say every time " bingo said while rolling his eyes and shaking his head, Fleegle glared up at him and said " i do not! ".

" mmm... " Drooper said while looking off to the side, snorky whistled and looked around.
" I do not !! name one time I let him go " Fleegle said before crossing his arms.
" you let him leave last week. then the last week... then the last month.. then the last two months.. " Drooper explained while counting his fingers, snorky and bingo nodding in agreement as Fleegle stood there wide eyed.
he finally groaned and said " okay ya'll are making this way too complicated! ".
the other splits all giggled as Fleegle pushed it off, ( y / n ) was almost already half way towards their home.

they looked into their wallet, seeing a small picture, to which they stole, of Fleegle and his friends.
( y / n ) smirked and closed the wallet before giggling to themselves as they made it safely to their home.
just seeing his pissed off face was all they needed to end the night, even if they succeeded in stealing or not.
are they on the verge of death? possibly.
getting thrown in jail? most definitely.
( y / n's ) gotten into so much trouble, they're a criminal. Of course, nothing drastic, just stealing and... well maybe keying someone's car...
both Fleegle and ( y / n ) knew that Fleegle will never turn them in, no matter how badly he sometimes wanted.

they walked into their home, setting the goodies on the counter before closing the door and clicking the locks closed.
it's quiet, yeah that's the one thing ( y / n ) didn't really enjoy, silence alone.
no roommate.
no parents.
not even a lover.
just them.
it's the life..
( y / n ) instantly sighed and walked around their home, turning things on while making the ( house / apartment ) come alive.
don't worry Fleegle, you'll fall far into their trap soon.
