My poor bestie😢😢
My best friend is in the Navy, and so was her girlfriend.
But her girlfriend was in Afghanistan, her team stepped to a mine field.
No bodies or.. body parts were found for anybody as far as she knows, but they found her dog tag.
I just.. I don't know what to say. I never met her in person, but I talked to her many times. She was such a good person, she loved Val with all her heart. And Val loved her. I considered her a friend.
I always loved to tease them about their relationship. They wanted a future with each other, they wanted kids. I was gonna be the godmother, and maid of honor at their wedding. Val was gonna propose to her next year.
I was in denial at first, I was wondering if they were sure everyone was dead since there were no body parts found. Denial is apart of grief.
Those two were perfect for each other, they loved each other, they were my real life otp.
I'm sorry Roxanne. Thank you for loving Val, I couldn't have imagined anyone better for her.
And Val, I'm sorry this happened to you.
