I was scared when I found out my daddy got shot, but he told me " I'm a OG so you know that was nothing". Anyway I'm going to a little kick back with Mila tonight and I have to let my dad know , since my mom is at my auntie Gigi house. I just hope he doesn't trip, but I'm sure he will I'm going to have to lie.
Mani- hey daddy
King-(watching march madness ) hey baby girl
Mani- can I go to the Mila 's tonight
King-that's not code for party?
Mani- no I would just tell you
King- that's right you're my lil angel unlike your brothers
Mani- that's right
King-(gives her $400) here, you might need it if y'all want to buy snacks

I felt a little bad for lying, but I got to turn up for the one time with my bestie. I quickly got dressed and styled my hair in a bun with bangs. I got a text from Mila telling me she outside, so I yelled to my dad bye and left.
Mila- I'm surprised your allowed to go out dressed like that or even allowed at all to go out
Mani- shut up, my dad doesn't know
Mila- (fake grasps ) mani daddy's little angel, lying and sneaking to kickbacks
Mani-(playfully rolls her eyes) your so annoying
We got to the kickback and it was live everybody was really chill, mostly because they were smoking or drinking. I saw Bryan and Trey getting tweaked on,but Trey stopped at when he saw Mila . She was wasn't paying him no mind ,but of course he was trying to spit game. While that was going on I was dancing and turn up until I heard gunshots.
Shooters- Tell king we at his head, kids... We know his kids her wherever y'all hiding.
How did he know my dad's kids were here,then I remembered my dad saying we're like hood royalty so be careful. I guess this is what he meant, the shooters started shooting again so I started running till I blacked out.
Mila pov:
I was enjoying my self at the party until Trey came up to me trying to talk when I just saw him getting twerked up. The h** had the nerve to smirk at me like he was mine, I honesty give no f**** . People really think me and Trey date ,because he's always in my face that's so dead.
Trey- hey baby girl
Mila-(rolls her eyes) not you're baby girl
Trey- why you always playing?
Mila- don't you have a h** to attend to? I did here to have fun
Trey- naw they just birds, but you look good
Mila- you're just a bird too , so begone and fly away( wearing the same out as mani)
Before, he could respond we heard gunshots and somebody threatening Trey's dad. The gunshot started again and I wanted to look for mani, but Trey carried me out.
Mila- no put me down I have to find your sister!
Trey- Bryan's getting her
Mila-(mumbles) better be
A minute later, we see Bryan and a dread head boy carrying mani towards the car. After, their dad finds out this mani's never leaving the house.
