The girl is staring at Komaeda with such a fear that it makes him sick to his stomach. But at the same time, the fear makes her smell even better. It's tough to resist.

Man, when was the last time he took a soul straight from a vessel? Has he ever done that even? Probably at some point, correct?

Komaeda nibbles on his fingernails conflicted. No kind-hearted demon wants to confront its victims. This girl seems so kind and scared, and it's not fair.

God, imagine what Hinata would say if he had to watch him take and consume the soul of this girl!

Enoshima drags the girl closer to him, still gripping her by the hair before depositing her at his feet. "I'll leave you two alone. Take your time and come say 'hi' before you decide to leave." She purrs before exiting the room, locking the door behind her.

Komaeda glances at the door and then back at the shivering girl. His stomach practically screams in anger that he's not feeding yet, and he sighs.

He slowly sinks to the floor right in front of her, extending a hand.

"H-Hurry up and do it." She demands.

Komaeda ignores this and instead asks, "How did you end up here?"

"What do you care? Hurry up!"

Komaeda's eyes narrow. "For someone who doesn't seem to want this done, you sure are rushing me. That's kind of annoying, don't you think?"

His stomach growls audibly, and he automatically scoots closer to her. Nanami tenses and squeezes her eyes shut.

He reaches out to her. . .and tucks a strand of hair behind her ear and out of her face. "Hey, relax."

"Why, does that make my soul easier to steal?"

He rolls his eyes. "I'm trying so hard not to eat you, you know. But you're kind of pissing me off."

Nanami cracks her eyes open. "What. . ?"

"How did you end up here, human girl?"

She hesitates, glancing between him and the door.

"There's no point trying to escape; you won't open that door without a special charm," He yawns, "Wanna chat now? You know, honestly, I would love to be patient and wait forever, I would, but I don't know how long until instinct takes over.  Especially with a scent like that."

"I've. . .been moved from prison to prison for such a long time now. I ended up here yesterday, and now one demon is feeding me to another." She mutters.

"Do you want to be free?"

The girl's eyes widen. "R-Really? If you're not messing with me, then sure."

Komaeda beams. "Okay! Thank you! Let's get you out of here then," His stomach roars, "Ah, I'm already regretting this," He waves his hand and mutters something, causing the door to fly open, "Okay, follow me, I will take you out of here."

He springs to his feet, pulling Nanami up after him.

"I'll get you out of here undetected."

"H-Hinata!" Komaeda exclaims in surprise, appearing in the human's cabin in his human disguise, "What are you still doing here? I thought you were going to hang out at the tavern with your friends and unwind."

The human lounging on the bed, fiddling with his eyepatch, shrugs. "I. . .was waiting for you. It didn't seem like you intended to take long, so I figure we could still go over together. They'll all love to meet you! . . .Did you eat?"
