Chapter 3: Mr Conductor

Thomas was traveling with Ruby. 

"Mr. Conductor, where are you?" asked Thomas, "I know you live far away, but you always seem to get here on time." 

"So, you think that he can take me and my team back?" asked Ruby. 

"Yes, he said he comes from Shining Time Station." 

"Shining Time? That's just on the edge of Vale." 

Thomas then saw a flicker of gold, and stopped. 

"Oh, Mr. Conductor, are you alright?" asked Thomas. 

"Yes Thomas," said Mr. Conductor, "but everything seems to happen all at once. I have to see Sir Topham Hat to get my orders right away." 

"Oh, Mr. Conductor, this is Ruby. She and her friends are stuck here." 

"Hello Ruby," said Mr Conductor. 

"Hello Mr. Conductor, it's nice to meet you."

 Ruby then saw Mr. Conductor get nervous. 

"Mr. C, is something wrong?" 

"No, it's just the journey from Shining Time gets bumpier and bumpier." 

"Does it?" asked Thomas. 

Mr. Conductor then climbed on board Thomas, and he said, "Diesel 10 is back Mr. Conductor. You'd better be careful." 

"Sir Topham Hat warned me about Diesel, don't worry you guys. I'll use my sparkle to keep him in check. I hope."

Diesel 10 meanwhile, was rolling past Knapford Station singing, "Old Mc Diesel had a plan. EH HE HE HE! With a pinch pinch there, and a pinch pinch there. Neh ha ha! I crack myself up!"

Beacon.....

"WHERE ARE THEY!?!?" yelled Qrow. 

He was getting inpatient with Ozpin. 

"Qrow, we are doing all that we can," said Ozpin. 

"TAI IS GOING CRAZY!!! HE HASN'T SLEPT, HE HARDLY EATS, AND HE WILL TEAR THE WHOLE WORLD APART TO FIND RUBY AND YANG!!!" 

Just then, Glynda came in, and said, "Ozpin, we have a problem: some of the Gold Dust is missing." 

Ozpin and Qrow looked at Glynda, and Ozpin said, "I need help now."

Back on Sodor, the steam engines were working hard, and doing their best to not be bullied by Diesel. Only James, who now felt really useful, was complaining. 

"Wobbly wheels." 

"Puffy pistons!" 

"Thomas, I should've collected Mr. Conductor." 

"And why is that?" asked Yang. 

"James is right, little Thomas," said Gordon, "Collecting Mr. Conductor is an important job. Important is big! James is a big engine, Hm? You Thomas are small. Small, small, small, teeny einey weeny. And I, I'm a big blue engine, who knows everything!" 

Yang then kicked Gordon's side rods, and said, "THAT WAS JUST RUDE!!!!!" 

"No wonder you or James weren't chosen," said Blake, "Your egos could rival Weiss', or even Yang's hair." 

"HEY!!!" cried the two in unison. 

Thomas was still cross at what was just said. "Bossy sprockets!" he mumbled, as he shunted some trucks, "All that steam has gone to your funnel!" 

"Thomas," said Ruby, "just ignore them."

At the other side of the yard, Splatter and Dodge watching the engines and the girls. 

"There they are," said Splatter. 

"We'll fix their wagons," said Splatter. 

"I'm not good at backing down," said Splatter. 

"Me neither," replied Dodge.

"What's important now is that we stand up on our own wheels and legs to Diesel," said Toby. 

"Toby's right," said Henry, "Diesel knows that lost engine in the legend, really exists." 

"What engine?" asked Yang. 

"What legend?" asked Weiss. 

"Of an engine who's magic makes her more powerful than Diesel will ever be!" said Henry, "That's why he wants to destroy her." 

"What he doesn't know," said Edward, "Is that if the engine is destroyed, it could make destroy our entire universe. The Conductor's universe." 

"Then we'd better find her first!" said Percy. 

"Leave the searching to the big engines Percy," said James. 

"Little engines can do big things," said Thomas, "Especially when they have bright blue paint, like me!"

"Hey Splatter," said Dodge, "Watch what happens." 

"When Harold the Flopper Chopper comes by," continued Splatter. 

Just then, Harold the Helicopter came by and said "Routine Fly Chaps, Hello!" 

"The boss dumped sneezing powder everywhere!" 

Powder flew up, and Harold said, "Oo sorry, I'd love to help and clean up, but I got to go, BYE NOW!!!" 

"Uh did you mean to look like that?" asked Splatter. 

"Um, no," said Dodge. "Uh, neither did I." 

"This must be Diesel's doing!" said Thomas. 

He was then sneezing all along the line. Team RWBY soon helped clean it all up. 

"If this is the work of that Diesel 10," said Ruby, "I'd like to give him a piece of my mind." 

"I don't think he's scared of anyone here," said Blake, "Except their controller, who's on vacation."
