"Morning."

She Heard Her Mother Speak But Was Half Asleep So She Chose To Ignore It.

Infact She Would Have Ignored It Anyway.

Couldn't Blame Her.
They Never Have Had A Close Relationship.

And The Worst Part Was That There Was No Reason For It.
And No Matter How Hard They Tried, Nothing Came Out Of It.

Sad Really.

Once She Had Placed Her School Books Into Her Bag; Everything Neatly Placed As Usual, She Neatened Her School Uniform.

Nothing More Than A Black Blazer Hugging Her Long Sleeved Shirt And A Thigh Lengthed Skirt.

It Wasn't What She Liked To Wear, But She Learnt To Tolerate Things She Couldn't Have Her Way.

Her Side-Fringe Rested Delicately On Her Forehead As Her Plated Hair Rested On Either Shoulder.

She Looked At Herself In The Mirror Above The Sofa.

She Hated Every Part Of Her Body.

Well She Liked Her Eyes; So Green And Beautiful.

But She Wasn't Fat.
Nor Skinny.
But She Only Saw The Flaws And Misfortunes.

Once She'd Finished Primping Herself, She Sighed And Left The House.

With No Breakfast.
Again.

She Walked Down The Street And Across A Small Field, With The Morning Breeze Caressing Her Cheeks.

But Soon, She Arrived At Her Best Friend's House, And Knocked On The Door Walking In Straight Afterwards.

"Morning." She Said Being Faced With Her Best Friends Dad.
"Morning." He Responded Walking Into The Kitchen.

She Smiled And Walked Into The Living Room.

Her Best Friend, Imogen (Who She Called Imy) Was Sat Eating Cereal On The Sofa.

She Smiled And Placed A Finger To Her Lips, As Her Mother And Little Sister Was Asleep On The Sofa.

She Smiled And Nodded Her Head.

Soon, Imy's Other Siblings Made There Way Into The Living Room.

There Was 8 Of Them.
Good Kids.

"We're Leaving." Her Dad Said Walking Out Of The House.

She Followed, And Soon Imy And Two Of Her Sisters (Charlotte And Summer) We're In The Car Heading To School.

"You Ok?" Imy Asked.
"Yeah You?"
"Yeah I'm Good."

They Smiled.

It Was Difficult To Talk Infront Of Other People As Usually They Did That In Private.

When They Arrived, Outside A Corner Shop, They Jumped Out Thanking Their Dad.

Summer Walked Away To Her Friends And So Did Charlotte.

"How Was Football?" She Asked Imy As They Walked Around The Corner To Their School.

"Yeah It Was Good Thanks. We Won Again."
"Congrats! I'm Not Susprised You're Really Good."
She Chuckled, "Thank You. How Was Your Piano Lessons?"
"Yeah. It Isn't Easy But I'll Get There."
"Well I've Heard You Play And I'm Sure You will."
She Chuckled.

Imy Has Been Her Best Friend Since They We're Two.
12 Years Of Someone Isn't Always Easy And Despite The Arguments They Loved Each Other Really.

People Would Say To Her How Much Of A Bad Influence Imy Was And How She Didn't Deserve Her.

But They We're Soulmates.
It Was Obvious.
You Could Tell They Will Forever Be Beside One Another.

"Good Morning Girls." Their Head Of Year Said As They Entered The Building.

"Morning Mrs." They Replied In Unison.

It Was Like Usual, The Same Rutine Every Day.

So Now, They Walk Past The Science Labs, Past The Sports Hall And The Sports Dome, Past The English Block Until They Were in Lower School, Awaiting For Tutor Time.

They Stood Outside The Classroom, In The Corridor.

There Were 4 Houses.

Einstein.
Galileo.
Darwin.
Franklin.

They Were In Einstein.
9E1 Was The Name Of Their Tutor Group.

"Hi Miss." She Said As Her Tutor Walked To Her Clasroom.

"Hi Evie, How Are You?"
"I'm Good, You?"
"Yeah. How About You Imogen?"
"I'm Good Miss."

She Smiled And Entered Her Classroom.

She Was A Lovely Teacher.
She Teached History To.

They Waited For A Moment, When Two More People Entered The Hallway.

So They Stopped Talking And Waited Again Until The Bell Rang.

When It Did, They Entered The Classroom Sitting In Their Assigned Seats At The Back Of The Class.

All The While, She Had Someone In Her Mind.

Someone Who She Knew She'd Be Sitting Across From In Her History Class.

Well Not Directly, But Two Seats To Her Right.

She Sat Through Tutor, With Butterflies In Her Stomach.

Tutor Was Never Exactly Exciting.
Talked Alot About School Trips Or Competitions etc.

So She'd Sit.
Her Leg Bouncing Up And Down, And Wait For Her Lessons.

But He Was In Her Tutor Group.
So You'd Question Why She Never Spoke To Him Then.
Strange Really.

"Ok You Can Leave Now." The Teacher Said As Everyone Stood Up And Put Items Back Into Their Bags. "Have A Good Day Everyone And I'll See You Tomorrow."

She Hurdily Left The Classroom, Saying Goodbye To Imogen Who Had Geography.

"Meet Me On The Playground." Imy Said Walking Away.
"Ok. Have A Good Lesson."
"And You."

They We're Now Separated, Thinking Of Other Things.

Imogen, Her Geography Test.
And Well Evie Had Him On Her Mind.

Finally, The Teacher Opened The Door Welcoming Everyone Into The Class.

She Rushed To Her Seat, Sitting On The Square Tables In The Middle Of The Classroom.

She Didn't Look Behind Her, In Fear She'd Seem To Kean To See Him.

But As She Wrote The Date In Her Book, She Saw Him Opposite Her.

He Placed His Bag On The Floor And Sat Down.

Susprisingly, He Smiled.
So She Returned The Smile And Immediately Looked Away Again.

Instant Shivers.

Not Butterflies.

Shivers.

When The Teacher Alowed The Class To Talk About The Question, He Asked Her How She Was.

Despite The Others On The Table, She Answered.

"I'm Good. How Are You?"
"Not To Bad."

He Smiled Again.

And It Was Obvious They Liked Each Other.
But Only To Those Around Them.
As She Never Remained Eye Contact.
And He Never Took Her Eyes Off Of Her.

Their Conversations Never Lived Up To Anything, But To Be In The Same Room, Or Even Face To Face With One Another Was Enough.

And That Was All They Needed Really.
