John b said it was a good day to go out on the boat so we packed up all our stuff and headed to pick up pope and kie since me and jj were already with him since both stay at his house a lot we had gotten pope already we just needed to pick kiara but John b was taking forever to drive
"Hey johny boy"
I ask while fixing my sunglasses
"Yes y/n"
John b replies while turning towards
"How much longer until we get to my besties house"
I say with a pout I see jj pull a hurt face and stick my tongue out at him
Legit two minutes now sit down y/n"
I sat down on the end of the boat with a long huff and waited to reach kie's house I hear a gurgling noise and turn around to try and see what it is i don't see any boats behind us so I just shrug it off I turn back around laying on my back trying to tan next thing I know I hear John b cussing and jj asking what's wrong I stand up and walk over to them
"Johny boy what's wrong"
"The engine got caught on something and now it's broke"
He says slamming his hands on the steering wheel
"Are you serious like no joke"
Jj ask
"Yeah man we need to get out of the water and try to fix it you think Kiara's dad will pull us out"
Pope replies to jj
"Well we are all already at kiara's house why don't you reach to the dock and tie us on so we can get kiara then go to the streets and find someone who will either a give us and the hms pogue a ride back to the house or b at least give us ride to the twinkie"
I tell the three boys knowing it's out only option they all look at me and nod jj reaching overboard to the dock and pulling the boat into the dock and John b getting the rope
"Alright everybody lets roll"
John b says hopping onto the dock jj following then pope then me we all start walking through the yard and up to the front porch and after John b makes sure that nobody is watching I knock on the door twice and then we all wait
"COMING ONE SECOND"
I hear kiara yell from inside the house
I hear loud footsteps and then the door swings open and I see kiara standing infront of me with a bright smile on her face that I return
"Y/n hey"
She says giving me a hug and then turning around and shutting the door and we all walk to the street then like a light bulb went off in my head I remember the boats broken
"Oh guys we have to find someone who will give us a ride remember"
The boys turn to look at me and nod their heads and kie looks at me with confusion
"The boat broke down so we are trying to find a ride to tow us"
I tell her
"Oh ok"
She says nodding her head
We all walk down the sidewalk of figure eight and to the main streets asking people for a little help and of course everybody saying no I stop asking some old guy for help once I see he has a honda civic and sigh I hear yelling and turn around go to check and see what's happening
"NO MAN YOU RIPPED ME OFF AND NOW YOU GOTTA PAY THE PRICE''
I turn the corner and see some dude that looks like he's on crack yelling at my brother and causing a commotion in the middle of the street for no reason
"What the hell are you talking about man you can't have the drugs back I already snorted the shit"
My brother says back wait did he say he snorted the shit wait that means my brothers doing drugs holy duck my brothers doing drugs I mean im not surprised but still holy shit I gotta watch this
"Well then I'll cut you open"
The drug dealer says back to my brother he goes to grab my brothers throat and I step forward taking his hand away from my brothers throat
"Step away from him you crackhead"
I tell the crackhead trying to look scary
"Awe does little country club need his girlfriend to save him"
the crackhead says laughing at me rafe steps forward with a disgusted face
"She isn't my fucking girlfriend it my little sister so shut up"
Rafe says to the crackhead looking him straight in the eye almost challenging him
"Whatever man but I want all the money" the crackhead says before walking off rafe turns to me and pulls me into the alleyway
"What the fuck are you doing trying to stand up for me you little bitch"
He says looking at me
"I was just trying to you help rafe"
I reply to him looking down at my shoes
"WELL DON'T FUCKING DO IT AGAIN YOU HEAR ME EVER YOUR JUST A STUPID PIECE OF SHIT"
He yells at me with so much hate I can feel the tears rolling down my face he walks off and I slide down the wall hugging my knees to my chest my head on my arms I can feel a bruise in both of my arms from wear rafe was gripping my arms so tight
"Y/N"
Is that John's voice
"Y/N"
Yeah that is his voice
"Y/N SERIOUSLY WHERE ARE YOU"
I want to get up but my muscles won't move
"JOHN B IM HERE"
I yell back my voice is hoarse from crying I hear a bunch of footsteps and then I feel arms around me I smell the vague scents of weed surf wax a library and vanilla perfume so I know it's the pogues and I also know kiara is the one hugging me I feel her hoist me up and somebody picks me up in their arms I smell surf wax so I know it's John b carrying me I remember falling asleep but I don't remember anything after that but when I woke up I was back at Johnny boy's house and in his bed with the covers over me and kiara is cuddling me I shift around and sit up I feel kiara sit up to and hug me
"Are you okay y/n we don't know what happened but when me and John were putting you in bed we saw the bruises on your arms did some guy do something"
She ask me while rubbing my back
"No um so I caught rafe and some druggie fighting about payment that rafe missed or something and I tried to help and then rafe got mad and started yelling at me and he had a tight grip on my arms the whole time so that's the bruises but I guess i'm still just shaken up a bit from it"
I say back to kiara laying back down and pulling her with me I lay my head on her chest while she runs her fingers through my hair to calm me down
"You don't have to talk about it if you don't want to but if you want to im here for you but for now let's just cuddle ok"
She tells me
"Ok"
I reply to her closing my eyes and drifting to sleep
