AFTER STORMING OUT OF THE SWAY HOURSE, vinnie and kio both got into vinnie's car and drove around the area. they passed by the skate park once or twice at this point, but after the third time, they decided to stop.

"why are we stopping..." kio asked.

"because we're going to the skatepark." vinnie replied, in an blank tone. he already removed the keys from the ignition, opening the drivers side.

"good thing i always keep an extra board in your trunk." kio said jokingly in an attempt to brighten up the mood.

the two boys grabbed their equipment before waking through the gated entrance of the skatepark. vinnie immediately walk in front of kio as he speed walked to their usual spot. as he approached the bench table, he saw a group of three familiar teens. he didn't notice at first, but the group was tristan, avani, and payton.

he continued walking for a few seconds before noticing paytons face. "payton?" he asked, squinting his eyes in confusion as he stood a few feet away from the group.

"w-what's up." payton replied with a shocked look on his face. vinnie walked up a bit further before noticing the blonde who faced her back towards him.

"tris?" he asked causing the girl to turn around. now looking at each, they stood for a few seconds before either one of them said a word.

"can we talk?" vinnie asked the gilr as she stood right in fornt of him, no saying a word.

"no." she replied back

"what do you mean no?" he asked, as he started getting visibly angry.

"why would i ever stand her and you explain to me the reason why you cheated on me. not with some random girl, but with one of my best friends." she replied back, now closer to his face.

"tristan. i didn't cheat on you. i told you that i would never do that to you." he says to the girl who was clearly upset.

"then why was hailey of all people begging you to come over at two in the fucking morning huh?" she said.

"i'm gonna admit, i was talking to her but not in that way. she was just going through something but maybe she caught feelings or whatever, but i never did anything with her i promise." hhe pleaded as the girl and her friends listened.

"whatever vinnie. i can't do this today." tristan says, walking away from the boy.

"t-tristan please, i'm sorry." he pleads to the girl as his eyes begin to water. she didn't even turn around to acknowledge his apology. she left as her friends followed, catching up with her.

the boy watch as tristan left the skatepark. he sat down on the bench and covered his face with his hands. "i messed up man."

"its okay, she'll come around eventually just give her time." kio responded, hovering over him as the boy nodded.
