~Tommy's POV~

I woke up in a panic. Eian stands there worried. I inform him I'm alright.

I look at my communicator and see Niki messaged me.

Niki to Tommy: Hey, when you get a chance we should talk. Preferably sometime today.

I smile. I haven't talked to Niki is so long. I message her back.

Tommy to Niki: Why don't you join me on gathering materials for my hotel. Meet me at my not completed hotel.

I smile and head to the hotel. I see Sam there. Not Sam Nook, but actual Sam.

"Hey Tommy. Thanks for yesterday again. I should have Sam Nook finished by tomorrow or the next day." Sam says, clearly tired.

"Hey, it's no problem. I trust you. What is my task for today." I say excited.

"Well I was thinking last night. That we should incorporate some spruce. It would look good with the red. What do you think?"

I look at the hotel and back at Sam.

"Hmm. I mean I love oak wood, but I guess Spruce would look good with it. How much do you need?" I ask.

"I'll need about 8 stacks to start. I may need more later."

"Ok, sounds good. Do you know where a spruce forest is? I don't want to take from Snowchester."

"I know where a good spruce forest is."

I look to the voice and see Niki. I smile and head over to her.

"Really?! Awesome!" I look back to Sam. "Bye Sam! I'll be back later!"

Sam smiles as I turn back to Niki, who is going towards Snowchester.

"So, Niki how have you been?"

Niki turns and almost glares at me.

"Sorry..." I mumble.

We walk in silence most the way. We enter a spruce forest and I start to chop down trees. Niki looks at me.

"Come on we aren't there yet." Niki says annoyed.

"But it's a spruce forest. I need spruce."

"Look I know an area that had spruce trees, left and right. So you don't have to keep walking around. You just turn and there is another tree."

My eyes light up, "That would be so much better and faster."

Niki smiles and leads the way more. Soon we get to the area Niki was talking about. I smile and start chopping down trees.

A few hours later I have a lot of trees. I turn to ask Niki how we get back but she's no where to be seen. I start to panic.

I close my eyes and take a deep breath. I open my eyes and she's still not here. I start to yell for Niki, but there is no response. I look down to see that my foot steps have been covered as it's snowing.

I grab out my communicator to message Niki when I start to hear a loud roaring sound. I look around worried. I start to run. Hoping to miss what ever it is.

But before I know I'm thrown from where I'm standing. My head hits something. My eye close.

---

My eyes open.

My body ached as I lay on the ground, bleeding. The rubble was hard and cold at my back. Noise came through staticky and broken like a voice through a bad phone line.  I could just vaguely hear footsteps thudding toward me accompanied by shouting. Still, my vision refused to focus, and the only thing I can identify around me was the grey expanse of the sky above as snow began to fall heavier.
