"I am a princess are you suspecting me right now??" Chayoung tries to scare him with her position

But Vincenzo didn't move an inch nor did he flinch

Why isn't he saying anything? Chayoung thinks nervously even though she was keeping her brave facade from inside her thumping really loudly. She thought if she gets caught right now her hardwork will be in vain and she'll not be able to take her mother's revenge

She says her last spiteful remark

"Do you even have evidence?" she asks bravely even when deep inside she knows if there is evidence she'll be doomed

"What are you doing this late at night at the place of crime" he asks  not with a smirk but with dark eyes stepping behind so that they have a comfortable distance between them.

So he doesn't have evidence "Chuseok festival is coming soon I was just buying some things " chayoung says gesturing towards the bag in danoh's hand

"If you don't have evidence you can't say things like that" she says as she bumps into him purposely and starts walking towards her house with danoh

Thank god..! That was so close chayoung thinks while walking

Vincenzo looks at her back as she got out of sight

It's been 15 years since Vincenzo joined army and his hunch had never been wrong but he was slightly doubtful about this one since chayoung is a Princess why would she do these things but on the other hand the fact that she tried to get him drunk and was found at the scene of the crime is also quite suspicious

He goes in the brothel where he was shot. The body was taken but there was blood everywhere on the sheets and walls he looked out of every window and examined the angle at which the assassin must've shooted and after studying the previous murders done by the assassin, he came to a conclusion that the assassin mostly shoots from the rooftop of houses slightly far from the crime scene

The royal guards starts investigation of the people who were there in the brothel at that time. He sees that chayoung is not there because only he saw her so he thinks of investigating her personally

Chayoung woke up to see her father having a hangover because of all alcohol he drank yesterday

She asks the maid to make him a hangover soup

She notices that danoh hasn't even said a word to her since last night

She goes out to talk to her but comes across the queen's messenger

"We're taking you for the investigation of the crime that happened yesterday since you were also there"
