[Mei opens her eyes. Her stomach screams to be fed, and she feels grungy after meditating for so long. Despite this, Mei feels surprisingly well-rested. Someone opens the entrance to her tent, blinding her briefly.]
???: You're back. Find anything useful?
Mei: (Glares, and rubs her eyes.) Not to you. Most of them aren't great at conversation.
???: Then why keep going back?
Mei: I'd detach completely, if I could learn how. This world has nothing but stiff places, and stiffer people.
???: You must be starving. I'll have a meal prepared for you.
Mei: (Shakily stands up.) I can find my own food, Ten- UGH!
[Mei's legs give out for a moment. The man steps in to support her, and lets her down gently.]
???: No, you can't. You are going to wait right here, eat what's prepared for you, and bathe. You smell worse than a sweating hog-monkey.
Mei: Fine. Make sure they hurry.
???: Mei, why do this to yourself? You spend so much time in this trance of yours, it won't be long before you lose your body completely. What's so important in there, to disregard your life like this? Tell me it has nothing to do with...?
Mei: (Scoffs.) I told you, I'm over him. Now, get me some food.
???: Right. I'll be quick.
