Gampo plans a grand motorcycling adventure to Ladakh on a bike which he has recently received as a gift from his father Jigme after completing his graduation. But the family is passing through a tough time - his grandmother Dorji and two other members of the household are suffering from COVID. The two younger members are asymptomatic and are under quarantine but the family is worried about Dorji, who is 82 now and has several co-morbidities. (Dorji and Gampo are especially close as it was Dorji who had brought up Gampo as his mother Nyima had to stay out for work in order to earn a living to support her family). Gampo obstinately leaves for his dream journey, oblivious (and probably wilfully ignorant) to the risks and the danger the family is in.
