GROWING UP ON THE STREETS OF YOKOHAMA IS NEVER EASY AND HARUO WOULD ATTEST TO THAT. She had even been particularly lucky with the advantage of having an ability on her side, but this just as easily made her a target. Danger lurked around every corner, especially after dark, but Haruo survived day by day for years.

That was when he showed up. Sakunosuke Oda, the man who became her father in all but blood. He took her under his wing and cared for her along with five much younger orphans after the bloody time known as the Dragon's Head Conflict. It took time, but Haruo eventually opened up and, for the first time in her life, felt she had a home and a family.

And then she lost them.

Reeling from the massive loss, she goes underground with Osamu Dazai, the newly defected ex-mafia executive for a year before joining the Armed Detective Agency, attempting to find her footing once again.

However, as much as she could gain from solving cases and helping people, Haruo realized she needed to help herself first.

Miyagi is vastly different from Yokohama, a scary but welcomed change as Haruo is given a chance to have what Oda wanted to give her but never got the chance to — a normal life. Her life would never be truly normal, she knew that, but it didn't mean she couldn't try, starting with enrolling at Karasuno High School.

It all goes on the best possible chaotic rollercoaster from there.
