Kaitou Joker - The Butler's Prison

Chapter 11

Dump waited patiently, just like everyone else. They were all still at the castle, while the other group decided to head out in Spade's ship.

Ontier gave Muff to Captain Blue, who kept on staring at the little creature as she made a call.

Ontier - Hello?

unknown - what do you need?

Ontier - I need your help

unknown - what kind of help?

Ontier - damn Qui, just answer me, can you help me?

unknown - Hey! Don't call me by my real name!

Ontier - Don't care-

unknown - Avi said the same thing about you- You really have a thing for dropping names of people who doesn't want their names known yet.

Ontier - First, some people knows your real name now. And second, I don't want to call you ??? the whole time.

Qui/??? - sigh... oh well. This call isn't being recorded- right?

Ontier - not likely-

Qui/??? - Anyways- what do you need help with?

Ontier - Can you find out where Joker is right now?

Qui/??? - damn Ontier- I have a lot on my plate right now... hmm... what do I get if I help you?

Ontier - Um.. what do you want?

Qui/??? - hmm... If you help me kidnap Phoenix- Then I'll help you.

Ontier - no way in my entire life would I kidnap Phoenix-

Qui/??? - Oh well- hmm- I know! I want you to buy me some Ramen while you're there.

Ontier - Ramen? That's it?

Qui/??? - yup!

Ontier - Deal-

Qui/??? - Okie! Um, locating now- oh never mind- Joker's headed your way right now!

Ontier - thanks Qui!

Qui/??? - Anytime- and don't forget your part of the deal.

Ontier - of course-

Captain Blue smiled as he pat the head of Muff. He always wanted a pet. He didn't knew what animal though. Some even suggested him to get a parrot! Like a real pirate! He still wasn't sure though.

Everyone waited until Ontier ran to the scene.

"Joker- he-" Ontier began before she fully stopped talking. Everyone gave a questioning glance. "Just... follow me." she said, leading the way.

Lupin knew why she stopped. It was a precaution, just in case someone listens to their conversation. Besides, Rei and Spider Ace are in the area as well. They might leak the information to the others...

Or someone might betray the group. But to Lupin's knowledge, even Rose won't tell Shadow about Joker's whereabouts

Everyone waited. And waited.

Until they saw the Sky Joker.

Joker immediately dropped a ladder. "Climb up!" He said.

And that is what they did.

"Thanks for climbing up... But, where is everyone else?" Joker asked. "And who is she?" The boy asked, pointing at Ontier.

"I am Kaitou Ontier of the South. And that is Muff, my pet baby sloth." Ontier said, as she pointed at Captain Blue who was carefully hugging the baby sloth.

"And everyone else is with Spade-" Phoenix said.

"Okay- I'll go to him later-" Joker began.

"DON'T!" Everyone else shouted. Joker gave a confused look. "Why?" He asked.

"Um..." Dump said.

"It doesn't matter. I have to explain. Rose, I am so sorry for destroying your home! I didn't mean it- and it wasn't me who was in control." Joker said.

"In control?" Rose asked.

"Yes, come." Joker said, leading the group into his room.

"Wait here- I can't let anyone know the password." Joker said. Everyone nodded their head in agreement.

A minute later, Joker came out of the room. Using tongs, he held what seems to be a necklace.

"Why are you holding the necklace like that?" Phoenix asked.

"Well, when I held the necklace, I was immediately being swayed to wear the necklace. When I did wear the necklace- the voice got louder and louder. Until, the voice was able to control me." Joker said. He placed the necklace back in the vault and locked it.

"Oh... do you know who the voice was?" Captain Blue asked, as he held Muff protectively.

"Not yet... I am still investigating." Joker said.

Everyone fell silent as they stood inside the room. That was when Phoenix broke the silence. "I know who can help!" he said.
