When the school's basketball team's captain lends you his jersey

It was the annual school's sports day and this year, the event was being held in the school field during the evening time which meant that it was going to be cold since your cheerleader uniform was quite exposing and short to even keep you warm.

You were getting your hair and makeup done when your friend, Mia, came up to you and whispered something near your ear, preventing anyone else from hearing your conversation.

'y/n do you know that jungkook is going to play a match with another team today?'

Jungkook, whom you've been madly crushing over since your middle school is going to play a match today when you are cheerleading.

You would usually watch him from a corner when he's playing and when you're performing, he wouldn't usually attend the event.

You cleared your throat before replying to Mia, 'Okay, I guess I've to warm up now.' You stood up with your flustered face as red as a freaking tomato.

After an hour

After warming up, your coach told everyone to line up in their position and then you'll have to lead everyone to the venue with your costumes on since you were the captain.

And of course, you listened and led everyone to the venue but were soon distracted by the group of boys who were standing outside while holding basketballs.

'Yo ladies, looking sexy huh!' One of the guys in that group voiced out with a dirty smug grin glued on his face.

You have never seen those guys before so you assumed that they were your school's opponents.

All the boys were staring at your short skirt and exposing cleavage which made you feel uncomfortable.

All of an abrupt, you saw another group of guys intervening in between before glaring at those filthy guys. 'Keep your disgusting stare on your own cheerleading team, not on ours.'

You immediately recognised the owner of that voice so you turned around. And yes, you were correct, it was Jungkook.

He turned towards you before winking at you and saying, 'see you around!' You were completely taken by surprise because this is the first time Jungkook ever talked with you.

You would always be the one staring at him from afar, too afraid to even talk to him. You gulped before walking into the field where there was already a huge crowd as the audience watched you walking up to the field.

You took a deep breath before showing a thumbs up to the DJ, who then began playing the music.

You started dancing elegantly but soon noticed someone's stare at you.

You looked up to find Jungkook staring at you while leaning on the side of the fence, with his arms crossed and watching you perform.

You felt butterflies jumping in your tummy but you couldn't help but to let his stare ruin your whole dance.

It was almost the end of the dance when you felt water drops on your arms out of blue.

Slowly, the rain began pouring which made all the audience run to the nearest shelter. You being you, first caring for others that's why you stayed out and made sure that everyone was in the shelter.

Before you went in, on the spur of the moment you felt some cloth wrap around your shoulders which prevented you from getting wet in rain and catching fever or cold.

You looked behind and saw shirtless jungkook who was draping his jersey over your shoulders. 'What are you doing? You will catch a cold!'

you asked as you tried to give his jersey back but jungkook stopped you from doing so by firmly holding the jersey on your shoulders.

'It's okay, you can have it. I don't want You to catch a cold, hm? Now let's go to the shelter.'

Jungkook softly said and grabbed your hand before running off to the shelter that was in a park, which wasn't far from this Field.

After reaching there, you took off the jersey from your shoulders before kindly thanking him. You wanted to give his jersey back to him but he rejected it.

'Oh you don't need to give it back as it's totally fine. Besides that, I prefer being shirtless as it's comfortable I guess.' He chuckled, making you giggle at his silliness.

'So you're single?' Jungkook asked you unexpectedly. You confusingly looked at him before nodding your head.

'Then why don't we start something in between us? I know this turned out sudden but I've laid my eyes on you ever since I first saw you in high school.'

He spoke out while slightly scratching the back of his neck. Your eyes widened as your mouth hung agape.

'o-oh uh, of course! I had a crush on you too when we were in middle school.'

You shyly spoke while fidgeting with your fingers before Jung-kook engulfed you into the warmest hug you had ever.
