"You need to remember your place little girl. You don't want to ask questions you don't want to know the answer to." He replied and went back to the task on his hand.
"I wouldn't have asked if I didn't want to know." I replied earnestly.
"Fanculo. cosa stavo pensando di portarla qui in mezzo a questo casino?" He muttered running his hands through his hair.
(F*k. what was I thinking bringing her here in between this mess)
"Look, all you need to know is that you need to stay with me, Gio, Nico or Gus. If anyone isn't here or you can't find anyone and there's a hint of danger you go to this addresss and stay there until one of us come gets you." He said passing out a paper with another bakeries name.
"Why?" I asked. I'm done with not knowing anything.
"I'm not doing anything unless you tell me what's going on." I deserve to know, don't I? How long would everyone keep me in the dark. How long will everything be a secret from me when I'm in the center of it all. All the time.

"Soo, I'll ask again, you know who took them, don't you?" I spoke.
He cursed, "bambina testarda." (Stubborn little girl)
"The less you know the better. You have no idea how deep you already are." He explained.
"If I'm already too deep what's the point of keeping things from me? I know I'm naive but I know that there's no way I'm going to Canada right now." I exclaimed.
"You know what, you are. You're leaving right away. And you're not going to Canada, you're going somewhere that no one's ever even heard of." He said the wheels turning in his head.
This doens't feel right, this doens't feel safe. I don't want this. I can't go somewhere not knowing anything, not knowing what happened to dad and Dom. I can't leave everyone here and go hide. I can't leave the ugly guy all alone to deal with the bad guys because my gut tells me that this involves me a lot more than he's letting on.
"What? No. I'm not leaving. How can you think I'll leave now? Dom is missing, my father is missing." I replied.
"You'll be safer." He muttered running his hands through his hair.
"Now you suddenly care about my safety? I was an investment remember? A debt to be paid! So why are you wasting your breath on my safety. I'd rather you spend that time and energy to things that matters. Dom and my father. We need to find them. I can't lose more people." I ranted.
"And I can't lose you." He snapped, no longer sitting calmly on his desk.
"You stupid stupid girl, do you think I'm doing all this just because I spent some money on you?" He threw that question which was probably a rhetorical one in the air.
"Who do you think you're calling stupid! I was on 70% scholarship on my way to college before you flew in and kidnapped me!!" I snapped back. I've had it with his extremely confusing attitude. People have limits. These are mine.

At the moment he looked like he probably wanted to pull out his hair, or wring my neck. It's difficult to understand by the tick in his jaw.
"Are you sure you're 18 and not 8?" He asked scratching his pinki finger. (Probably to stop him from you know what)
"Oh yes, I'm sure. I turn 19 in 2 days just fyi. And I wouldn't mind having Dom and dad back as a gift." I replied hopeful.

"I've seen too many people change once they spend a couple of years here. I wish, that it doens't happen with you." He said as he excused himself.
And I did what I rarely do. I followed him out,
"What does that mean?" I called out.
"That, I can't lose you." He replied as he shut the door after him.

With a heavy heart and a mind even heavier I went to look for one of the 3 stooges. Might as well be around them until something pops up to get me out of this mess.
"Tell me one thing, did you guys know that I was the lost Angelo's daughter?" I asked Nico as he was filling up a bag of guns while I tried to remain un phased to it.
He glanced towards me, pausing his task at hand.
"Why the sudden interest?" He asked.
"It's not sudden, and you know it." I replied, leaning at the table he was working on.
"Yes, we did know. Well, boss did and then we found out." He replied.
"How long has he known?" I asked.
"With boss it's never known. He could have known it all along." He replied finishing up his packing.

"Hypothetical question. Completely, totally Hypothetical. What would happen if the Angelo's find out that I'm here." I asked.
"A bloodbath." He replied as he too walked out of the room.
Don't want to leave me alone but can't stand me in the same room at them? Geezzzz.
The wheels in my head wouldn't stop thinking about the said blood bath, and the possibility that everything could be okayish. It's not like I have family feelings towards them but I can't help but think what if. What if everything actually could be okay. What if.

"Little Angelo's little finance is in the hospital. Boss is waiting in the car. We need to go." Nico entered the room to collect me.
"What is she okay?" And he just gave me a really look.
"Wouldn't it be safer to stay here? Isn't that what the boss said?" I asked.
"It would have been if big Angelo wasn't the one who put her there." He replied as he walked out.
