With a loud “thump”, Mu Jinghang, who was peeking in through the outside window, fell down.

Stars were revolving around his head. He cursed and picked up his jaw that had dropped very low from shock.

Not only was Qiao Qing not yet over 18, but it was also her time of the month. Wasn’t his third bro being a little too monstrous?

Qiao Qing was so surprised by what Jun Yexuan had said, it took her a while to find her voice, “Jun Yexuan, have you got no shame?!”

She felt like these past few years, she had experienced so much she should be able to remain collected in all situations.

But this man always managed to piss her off so much that she ended up stomping her feet.

Jun Yexuan said without the slightest trace of embarrassment, “If I have you, why would I need shame?”

Qiao Qing inhaled deeply and decided to stop acknowledging him.

She turned around and got off the bed to go wash up in the other bathroom.

Who knew that the moment she opened the door, she would see He Wanqing’s kind and motherly face that was full of smiles.

“Ugh… baby! I’m here to check when it would be a good time for you guys to come and eat?”

Qiao Qing, “…!!!”

After she washed up, changed, and went downstairs, Qiao Qing saw Jun Yexuan’s face that she found to be worth beating.

Before she could sit, she heard He Wanqing ask, “Baby, I saw burns on little Xuan’s hand. Why didn’t you clean it up for him?”

Remembering how he had burned himself, Qiao Qing’s anger dissipated a little. But for now, she chose to do nothing.

Jun Yexuan replied, “Auntie, there’s no need to bother Qingqing. It was my hand that got hurt, not my face. Even if I scar, it’s not a big deal.”

This statement made Mu Jinghang roll his eyes.

He just knew that his third brother was hinting to Qiao Qing that if they leave it as it is, his hand would scar.

As expected, after what Jun Yexuan said, Qiao Qing paused and then went upstairs.

Jun Yexuan immediately grinned and followed her.

Mu Jinghang shook his head and made a scornful noise, “Raunchy.”

When Qiao Qing tended to Jun Yexuan’s burn wounds, the Dean of the University of Capital City, Cui Yan arrived at the Qiao manor in his car.

Cui Yan eyed the gate to the manor and then asked his secretary, who sat in the passenger’s seat, “Is this that girl’s house?”

The man in gold rim glasses nodded, “Yes, sir.”

“Let’s go.” Cui Yan ordered and then left the vehicle. Alongside Jing He’s company, they walked into the Qiao manor.

When this was happening, Qin Yongmei had just walked out and was about to go play Mahjong with her friends. So, she met Cui Yan face on.

When Cui Yan saw Qin Yongmei leave from the Qiao house, he asked respectfully, “Are you the madame of this house?”

Qin Yongmei nodded dumbfoundedly, “I am. May I ask who you are?”

Cui Yan smiled and took out his business card, “I’m the Dean of the University of Capital City. This year, UCC decided to admit one student ahead of time and has allowed that student to skip the application process. From what I can tell, your daughter has great academic records and is extremely talented. So, I want to offer her that spot. I’m here to relay the great news.”

Qin Yongmei was struck hard by this sudden news and couldn’t react right away.

Only after she saw the man’s title on the business card and confirmed that it was true, did she scream out of happiness.

“Oh my god! This is real?”

Cui Yan smiled, “I picked her myself. Of course, it’s real. I wonder if your daughter would agree to this?”

“Of course she will! It’s been her goal to go to UCC!”

Qin Yongmei was laughing so hard she couldn’t close her lips. She said to Cui Yan right away, “Dean, please come in and sit. It’s a long journey to get here from the Capital City. Come inside and have some tea!”

Cui Yan figured it would best to get Qiao Qing’s approval face to face, so he nodded and entered the house.

Qin Yongmei led the way. Her back was straight and her chest was raised high.
