Steve's Last Request

Taking Action

They walk into the compound and Steve greets them and hugs his daughter. " Any news yet dad?" She asks.

Steve shakes his head." No sweetheart but we are doing our best."

Aurora nods." I'm going to go put the kids in the playroom and put the boys down for a nap."

Steve looks at the guys." Bruce has everything set up in the lab. We will get her back Sam." Steve outs his hand on Sam's shoulder.

Sam nods and heads to the lab followed by Steve and Bucky. Aurora waddles in shortly after." Anything?"

Bucky turns around." Baby please at least sit. Who is watching the kids?"

Aurora sighs." Maria said she would sit with them."

Sam looks at the screen watching some security footage from the store." I should go feed the boys."

Aurora stands next to Sam." Already taken care of Uncle Sam."

Sam hugs her tight keeping his composure." Thank you."

" No worries." She smiles.

After a few hours everyone sits down for dinner and gets ready for bed. Bruce calls the guys down to the lab Aurora quietly follows and stays out of site.

Sam runs in to the lab." What's up?"

Bruce looks up." I have a hit I say we move out in the morning."

Bucky nods." We will head out before it gets light out."

Steve looks at Bucky." We should tell Aurora but keep the details out. She is going to want to go."

Aurora listens and then makes her way back to the living area. She sits on the couch and turns on the tv. Bucky, Steve and Sam walk in." What's up?" She asks.

Steve sits next to her." We have a lead we are going to check it out."

She nods and looks at Sam who avoids eye contact." So just a lead or you know where she is?"

Sam keeps his gaze down. She looks at Bucky." Hmmm ok." She gets up and heads to the bedroom Bucky follows her. " You want to go with." Bucky sighs.

" Yes I do... and I will." She sits on the bed.

" Babygirl I don't think that is a good idea." Bucky sits next to her and put his hand on her belly.

" We will discuss it further before you guys leave." She kisses him and lays down.

After about an hour She hears Bucky's slow and steady breathing. She slowly slips out of bed changes grabs a bag that is holding any equipment she may need and heads down the stairs. She freezes seeing her dad sitting in the living room. She quickly puts the bag down out of site and turns to towards the kitchen trying to be quiet. She looks back and bumps into the table. Steve turns around." Can't sleep?"

Aurora freezes and turns around." Not really. Could you do me a huge favor?"

Steve walks up to his daughter and hugs her tight." Sure sweetheart."

We are out of ice-cream would you please go get me some?" She hugs him tightly back.

Steve smiles sure thing I will be back a quickly as I can."

" You are the best Dad ever." She smiles as he get in the elevator heading down to the garage.

She grabs the bag and a set of keys off the counter." Sam's Prius will have to do" She whispers. She makes her way to the garage. She stops at one of the safes in the garage opening it and taking out her daggers and two extra guns. She climbs into Sam's car. " Friday can you please download Wanda's coordinates to Sam's car? and don't let anyone know I left "

"Yes Mrs. Barnes." Friday answers

Aurora sees the destinations show up on the GPS and smiles." Hold on Wanda."
