Chapter 11.5: The Dark Defender

2 hours earlier.

Lily’s phone rang. The blonde looked at her phone to check who was calling; it was Mikhail. She answered the phone with a simple “Hello”

“Oh hey Lil, Did Sarah borrow your car?”

 “Yeah, I think so. Why?”

“I think I saw her here in Santa, Clarita in the shooting range a while ago.”

“Huh? But she told me she’s just goin’ downtown?” the blonde was confused; “Sarah lied to me?”

“Well apparently she’s here; and I think she’s with someone but I’m not so sure; she quickly drove off is she there yet?”

“No she’s not here.”

Then suddenly Khail hangs up.

Lily quickly left the office; she felt that Sarah was hiding something from her.

“Is she cheating on me?” the blonde thought to herself as she flagged a cab and went to Santa, Clarita. She immediately went to the shooting range; and saw no one was there. Not even Khail she entered the shop and went to investigate; there were no staffs present which is really peculiar.

She went to the staff room; that’s where she saw an unconscious young woman she was only wearing her undies and her torso was covered with thin sheets.

Lily was startled; she quickly dialled for reinforcement to go to the area. She then quickly flagged a cab to look for Sarah; she was worried, she feared that maybe she’s being threatened by that someone Khail described a while ago.

It didn’t take her long before she spotted her car; which was parked at a roadside near a lake. She asked the driver to pull over; after paying the driver he quickly took off, it was like he was avoiding the place.

Lily looked at her surroundings. Cars rarely pass by and the community is far away from this area. What would Sarah do here?

The blonde searched for Sarah near the lake, and as she walked a bit further she spotted an old shack; as she comes closer she heard a familiar voice. It was Sarah’s. She carefully walked to the side of the shack the windows were sealed; but there were gaps in the shacks wall’ since it was made out of lumber that enables her to see what’s going on inside.

She saw a woman facing back to where she was peeking; with a man duct taped on the table.

“Who are you!?” the man yelled as he asks who Sarah was; he was still struggling. Trying to get away from the duct tape, the woman turned around; “Sarah!?”

Sarah was wearing a different set of clothes; she’s also wearing this black apron; gloves and boots.
“I am the angel of death” Sarah said in a sarcastic manner; Lily looked at Sarah closely, it wasn’t her it was an entirely different person.

“Get me out of here you fuckin’ shitty bitch” the man yelled squirming around still trying to get away.

“That’s not really nice of you; By the way do you remember them?” Sarah showed something to him

“I don’t know what you are talking about!” Lily blinked whenthe man suddenly yelled; Lily just saw him with a scar on his cheek as Sarah went to her bag; keeping something. Then she turned back to the man again; this time with an 8’’ knife on her hand.

“OKAY OKAY I CONFESS! I DID MURDER THESE PEOPLE! THEY WERE NUISANCE TO THE SOCIETY! THEY ARE NO GOOD!” the man’s voice was now trembling in fear.
