[Inuyasha]
I wonder what was taking Kagome so long. I came to her dorm room at least an hour before because I had to ask her about homework. And no, I didn't want to ask her over the phone because homework was my excuse to see her. I feel like I'm turning into a girl. Aww gross.
"Hello? Kagome?" I knocked on the front door.
The door opened and a lady which had the same features as her smiled back at me.
"Hello. You're Inuyasha aren't you?" Kagome's mother asked.
I nodded my head and smiled a little, shoving my hands into my pockets.
"What are you doing here?" I asked.
"Oh. I came to check up on Kagome. Her room is a mess and I'm helping her clean it up." She grinned.
A comfortable silence fell between us.
"Thanks for saving Sota by the way." She smiled again and directed her stare towards my twitching ears. Her smile immediately dropped.
"Are you a hanyou?" Her tone had changed and her warm smile was now replaced by a stare as cold as stone.
I nodded. "Yeah why?"
She shook her head and gestured for me to enter the room. I strolled in casually and sat on the couch.
"Kagome went out to meet someone important and she will be back in a while. So please make yourself at home while waiting for her." She forced a smile and I could tell her words weren't sincere. She took one last glance at me before disappearing into the room.
What is going on? Does Kagome's mom hate me? And who is that important person Kagome had to meet? I whipped out my phone and texted her.
Hey. Where did u go? - Inu
A reply from her came shortly after that.
Heyy. Had something important to do. Why? Do u need something? -Kags
Here at ur dorm cuz I hafta ask u abt hw. Ur mom found out I'm a hanyou and I think she hates me. -Inu
...don't worry abt that. I'm coming home soon k. -Kags.
I sighed and switched off my phone, throwing my head back onto the couch and enjoying the silence.
"What do I do? It's here! In the house right now!" I heard a voice call. Kagome's mom. I strained my ears to listen to her conversation. What's here?
"Yes yes, Kagome's friend. I remember telling her not to mix with half demons?!" Was she talking about me?
"Yes! It's really annoying I know. What should I do? Kick it out? Or let it stay? What if it attacks me?" I frowned in annoyance. I didn't like the way she called me 'it'. It's really damn disrespectful.
"Okay...yes, yes. Alright. What? You...what! That's not possible... Oh my god would you stop shouting?!" I definitely had enough. I walked in the direction of the noise stood behind the wall near Kagome's mom.
"Ah...so it's coming soon? Yes yes, that'll be the best. I somewhat have to get rid of the hanyou right? Yes, that's the best idea..."
I heard her footsteps were coming closer and her voice was getting louder and quickly ducked into another room. Kagome's mom was trying to get rid of me? Why?
"It's coming in 20 minutes right? Yes, we have to get rid of it before Kagome comes back home."
My breath hitched up to my chest. What were they going to do to me?
