Izuku: The Punisher (Discontinued)

The Sports Festival

The next day Izuku is walking to Nezu's office to speak about the sports festival, he arrives at the door and knocks waiting for a reply and Nezu says, "Come in." Izuku enters the room and says, "Nezu I'd like to talk to you about the sports festival." Nezu says, "Alright what's on your mind?" Izuku says, "I believe it would be best if I didn't participate." Nezu raises his brow and says, "May I ask why?" Izuku says, "During my time as the Punisher I have investigated and hunted down many people and my most recent would be the L.O.V, if they were to find out that I'm here it may lead to an attack on UA." Nezu nods and says, "I see, very well instead of participating you can watch from the spectator room." Izuku nods and says, "Thank you Nezu." 

Later in the day class 1-A is getting ready for the sports festival but Bakugo notices that Izuku is still in his casual clothes and asks, "Hey Izuku aren't you joining?" Izuku says, "No, in order to keep my identity a secret I'm going to be spectating." Bakugo sighs and says, "Dammit I wanted that rematch." Izuku says, "Don't worry Kat you'll get the chance." Todoroki is angered by how Izuku is not joining because he wanted to fight him before Izuku leaves he turns and says, "You guys better do your best out there." Izuku leaves and the class finds themselves filled with determination and want to give it their all in the festival 

Mic announces all the classes and they're currently waiting for their first challenge, the R-rated hero Midnight shows up on a stage making most participants and spectators flustered but brushing that aside they put their attention back on Midnight when she says, "Hello everyone and welcome to the Sports Festival!" the crowd cheers and Midnight says, "Alright let's get down to business and begin the first challenge." a wheel is brought to the stage and Midnight spins it and it lands an obstacle course as Midnight says, "The first challenge is an obstacle course! Participants make your way to the tunnel!" 

The students make it to the tunnel and wait as Mic announces the obstacles and what to do making most of the students nervous but class 1-A remain focus on their task, the race starts and it goes as canon but Bakugou places first in the race, when the rest of the students arrive at the finish line Mic announces which participants are safe and eliminated and their attention goes back to Midnight when she says, "Now let's see what the second challenge will be" she spins the wheel again and it lands on calvary battle as she says, "The second challenge is calvary battle, the person that placed first in the race will receive 10 million points." the students stare at Bakugo and he glares at them making them look away 

Midnight explains the rules and the teams are the same but Jirou replaces Izuku on his team and the battle goes as canon, the battle ends and Mic announces the top four teams and says that they have a 30-minute break, after the break Midnight says, "Now onto the final challenge of the festival!" she spins the wheel and it lands on 1-v-1 battle, and Midnight announces, "The final challenge is 1-v-1 battle!" a bracket shows who' gonna fight who and the first match is Jirou vs Shinsou as Midnight announces, "Kyoka Jirou and Hitoshi Shinsou please enter the arena." they both enter the arena and Midnight says, "Begin!" Jiro charges at Shinsou remembering Ojiro's warning and hits him with a right hook, he tries to fight back but Jiro catches his hand and flips him over his shoulder out of bounds and Midnight announces Jirou as the winner

Shinsou is about to walk off but Jirou tells him, "Hey I was told about your quirk and I think it's pretty cool, you should train it because with a quirk like that you could make it in the hero course." Shinsou looks back and says, "Thanks, I'll think about it." the next rounds are the same but before Jirou's match with Todoroki Izuku goes to talk to him because he noticed how he's been giving glares towards him

Izuku is going to see Todoroki but runs into Endeavor and says, "So you are the Punisher, you should be in prison for what you've done and your daughter should be in better custody." Izuku's anger rises after hearing his words and says, "Yeah? Well I can say the same to you for involving your wife in a forced marriage for her quirk to have "the perfect creation" to surpass All Might, along with mentally abusing your wife that had her end up in a mental hospital, neglected your children which drove the eldest to his death and physically abused Shoto. People like you make my blood boil and I would like nothing more than to put a bullet in your head for being more of a villain than you are a hero but I'm doing this rehab program for the safety of my daughter. Now if you don't mind I'm going to tell your son how he's not going to be controlled by his bastard of a father anymore."

After feeling the intimidation of the Punisher Endeavor walks away and Izuku goes into the room that Todoroki is waiting in but before saying anything Todoroki says, "About what you said I want to thank you" Izuku says, "Don't thank me yet because I'm not done talking now listen up." Todoroki looks at him and Izuku says, "I know why you choose not to use your fire, it's because of Endeavor correct?" Todoroki looks down and clenches his fist thinking about the harsh training he had to go through but his thoughts are interrupted as Izuku says, "I'm going to tell you that it's your quirk not his, so I suggest that you use your full power to become the hero that you want to be." he goes to walk out of the room and Todoroki says, "Midoriya, thank you." Izuku looks back and says, "No problem."

Midnight announces, "Kyoka Jirou and Shoto Todoroki please enter the arena." they both make their way to the arena and Midnight says, "Begin!" Todoroki launches an ice attack and Jirou counters by creating soundwaves to break the ice Jirou thinks, (He's a long-range fighter, I have to get close to him!) She tries charging at Todoroki but he launches another ice attack and Jirou counters again and is still charging, this makes him a little worried because it looks like she found his weakness but he remembers Izuku's words and starts to ignite his flames

Jirou is getting closer but barely dodges a wave of fire that Todoroki launched now back to the stands Izuku gives off a small smile seeing that Todoroki escaped being in the shadow of his father along with how Jirou is giving her all

Jirou gets up and sees Todoroki using both fire and ice she prepares herself and charges again only to see another wave of fire but slides under it getting a little burnt in the process but pushes through it, she wastes no time and uses her soundwaves but Todoroki slides with his ice avoiding the attack and is now behind her and launches an ice attack but she manages to turn around in time to counter

Jirou is starting to get tired after using her quirk so many times so she gathers enough strength to launch a soundwave at Todoroki stunning him and takes the chance to run up and punch him in the gut, he stumbles back and looks up to see Jiro about to punch him again but he ducks and touches the ground launching a wave of ice capturing Jirou in the attack due to her not being able to react in time

Midnight announces, "Todoroki is the winner" Todoroki goes up and frees Jirou and says, "You put up a good fight." Jirou says, "Same to you." she makes her way to the stands and runs into Izuku in the hallway and he says, "That was a good fight you gave it your all and managed to keep up with his attacks, the training paid off." Jirou says, "Thanks, I couldn't have done it without your help. So where are you off to?" Izuku says, "Nowhere just walking around." Jirou says, "Oh alright then, I'll see you when this is over." Izuku says, "Yeah." and Jirou goes back to the stands

Izuku continues his walk but stops when he hears the familiar voice of Ilda when he says, "That bastard crippled my bother, he shall pay for this." Ilda walks in the opposite direction leaving Izuku to try and piece together what he was talking about and comes to the conclusion and thinks (From what he said it's most likely the hero killer, no doubt about it. I better keep an eye on him and make sure he doesn't get himself killed.) Izuku leaves and goes back to the spectator room 

Back to Todoroki, he runs into Endeavor while exiting the arena and says, "Well it finally looks like you abandoned your little rebellion against me, now I can start training you to become the best hero anyone will ever see." Todoroki looks up at Endeavor and says, "I haven't abandoned anything, I decided to use my full power to become the hero that I want to be. I already know you want me in your agency and I'll go but I won't go down any path you made for me because only I can decide my future."

The fights progress but Todoroki uses his fire against Bakugo making his fight more of a challenge but Bakugo overthrows Todoroki winning the fight, Bakugou places first and wins the sports festival with Todoroki placing second and Tokoyami placing third due to Iida leaving, the sports festival ends with All Might giving the metals and screwing up his little speech at the end
