For them,
the ones given golden spoons on their silver plates -
that is, for some, love was merely a ritual they'd never agree to -
nethertheless, they'd say yes, only for their parents sake.

Though, for others,
Humans, other than them could only be seen as gold-diggers.
Lust was dealt with and happiness was faked.
And, if they were to ever fall in-love with each other, that is,
It would be their own mistake.

But-
what about the ones whom had to work to butter their breads with only aluminum knives?
In their eyes, Love was a journey they'd like to travel their whole lives.

And I, I too relate -
Love is immaculate in many ways, It just needs to be expressed right.
Many use it as a word, a joke -
And when it hits a lovesick ones heart, they get as sour as a well- rippen lime.

As stated boldly,
Love was never something to be plainly used.
And as some might think, as what they've experienced -
The word Love was spoken, only to hide the hate, and abuse.

As for the right definition, that's between us two.
So tell me, whoever you are,
