Friday Afternoon
Lawyers Office
The week with having the police officer with me has gone a lot better then any other week I've had at school. The trial is in a few days so we have had to go to the lawyers to talk over everything that happened so they know the full story to back me up. The lawyer is this shark that Daniel went to college with, a good friend apparently..doesn't help that she's a babe.
"So Tyler run through it one last time for me" Simone asks
"I've told you 1000 times I'm getting tired of this" I moaned
"I know but I need to make sure we are both ready ok please just once more" She asked
"Come on Ty, then we will go get food" Dan says
"You can't bribe me with food" I sighed
"I know we can now come on Tigs" Grandad said
"Fine, can you record it this time so I don't have to repeat it again?" I asked
"Sure" She laughed and set her phone up
Then I repeated the story for hopefully the last time.
"Ok what I want to ask is are you open to changing the story to suit the prosecution team who are against Grant. They have offered a dollar amount to sway you if that is what you are willing to do" She says
"So I would have to go on the stand and lie?" I asked
"Well yes and no, you would change your story a little to suit the team who want to put Grant away for life while offering you money under the table for it" She says
"He has told me that after court I will never see him again Simone, I can't lie up there he has people everywhere, he would kill me" I say
"I think we need to think about this" Daniel says
"There is nothing to think about Dan I'm sorry but no deal" I say and walked out
"What's wrong?" Nick asked
"Nothing don't worry about it" I say
"Ty wait up" Dan says
"Na I'm not listening to that crap in there" I say
"I get it but just think about it, they could put him away for life and you get a nice pay out from all the shit you were put through" He says
"No thats not right Dan" I say
"Think about it" He replied before walking back into the office
"Is that what I think it was?" Nick asked
"Yes but I told them no so don't stress" I reply
"They want you to lie on stand" He asked
"Yes" I sigh
