"Hey, Melinda got a new job for me?" I asked, Melinda turned away from her computer and faced me. "Yes, It's an A-grade co-op mission, I left the box in your office," She said. This was my first job in forever, I was on paid leave and had to take mandatory therapy sessions before I could officially come back to work.

We developed co-op grade missions when my mother officially joined our agency with Jaysons, it's pretty self-explanatory but, it's when a mission needs both organizations to pull off.

I walked into my office and saw a big box sitting on my desk, it was black and tied with a red corduroy ribbon. I opened the box and pulled out a floor-length, black, evening dress paired with black heels, a handgun, an earpiece, and a set of keys.

I threw everything into a duffel bag and walked back out into the lobby, I could feel eyes on me, judging me.
A feeling that I could never get used to which only got worse after my kidnapping.
My hand slowly rose and began to tremble. A pale hand with French-tipped, coffin-shaped nails covered mine. "You've been briefed on the assignment already right?" Melinda asked. "Because this one will be pretty big, I heard that more than 50 agents will be there," she added. I nodded my head and accepted her comfort.
"You'll be fine," she said with a reassuring smile.

I dropped the duffel bag onto the floor before reaching over her desk and hugging her. Melinda has been extremely supportive of me through everything, Hell! She practically moved in with Jayson and me throughout my entire pregnancy and with my... problem

Our office has what we call dressing rooms, (though our boss wants u to call them something else) prepared with all costumes, hygienics, or anything needed to look right for a mission or even just to get through the day.

I walked into the dressing room and placed my duffel bag down on the counter. As much as I tried to hide it, my hands trembled when I reached for the bag, no amount of therapy can really make someone forget about something like that.
My shakey hands reached towards my bag and pulled the zipper back, I looked behind me and around the room before reaching my hand inside and pulling out a glass bottle and a covered needle.

This is my problem.

My body has been having these tremors and trembles and nothing has been able to make it stop.

I flicked the cap off of the needle onto the counter and stuck the needle into the vial.
My heart rate increased as I retracted the needle and flicked the tip getting the extra fluid out. The needle approached my arm, right at the vein. I looked up and took a deep breath before gently diving the needle into my arm and slowly releasing the cool liquid into my bloodstream.

Just as the needle went in, it went swiftly into the waste bin. A band-aid quickly covered the spot trapping my blood inside and the muscle relaxer soon did its job. The tremors stopped and my thoughts became clearer.
Another sigh escaped my lungs and I began to change into my necessary attire.
