(harry and y/n are together)
"you're gonna get in trouble!" hermione yelled at harry.
"i'll only get in trouble if i get caught," harry sassed.
ron's eyes widened in shock, "since when did you become such a rebel?"
"i'm not a rebel, i just wanna do something for y/n, my girlfriend," harry replied.
"OOH, what are you planning for her? I wanna help!" ginny beamed as she entered the room.
"be quiet! and no, i'm not letting anyone else know, or the surprise will be ruined," harry snapped.
"oh come on, she's my best friend, i have a right to know." ginny begged.
"no, this is a girlfriend-boyfriend thing." harry replied, crossing his arms.
"it doesn't matter ginny, he's not going, if he does umbridge will catch him, then he can't spend the day with y/n and will spend it in detention. not to mention he's gonna get those stupid scars on his hand from umbridge and her quill." hermione assured and looked at harry.
"I told you, i'm NOT gonna get caught. and those scars aren't important, y/n is." harry fumed, looking at hermione and putting his hands into fists.
"just tell me what it is!" ginny pleaded.
"fine, but you can't tell her." harry accepted at last.
"i won't, who would actually do such a thing?" ginny scoffed.
"okay so-"
"harry here bought something as a surprise for his girlfriend," hermione cut him off, "he planned to put it outside y/n's door tonight while she's with luna." she finished, losing her patience.
"what's she doing with luna?" ginny questioned, a hint of concern in her voice.
"luna said she was gonna hang out with her so i took the opportunity, and i'm trying to get the gift before she comes back-" harry tried to explain but got cut off.
