"What's going on with you and Yeonjun?"
"Huh? What?" I furrowed my eyebrows In confusion as to the odd question that exited Soobin's mouth the moment he walked up to me in the school hall.
"Don't play dumb you're really close with him all of a sudden. What happened to me being your bestfriend?" Soobin pouted.
"You are my bestfriend" I replied still confused
"Y-you're not dating are you?" Soobin asked shyly
"What! No no not at all I know you like him I'd never do that to you" I quickly denied.
"What- I don't like him where did you get that from!" Soobin panicked
"You're both the same" I rolled my eyes
"What?" Soobin tilted his head
"Nothing" I shook my head.

"So you guys want to go get ice cream after school?" Yeonjun questioned during lunch.
"As long as I'm not third wheeling" soobin mumbled to himself.
"What- third wheeling? Me and Kai aren't dating idiot" Yeonjun chuckled while playfully smacking Soobin's arms.
"Whatever you say" soobin shrugged.
"Anyways..I'm down I love ice cream" I smiled trying to lighten the mood.
"Great! I'll meet you at the school gates at 3:30" Yeonjun smiled back jumping off his chair and leaving to get a drink.
"Why are you being so weird?" I asked soobin
"I'm not being weird. You're being weird" he shot back
"You're the one acting sceptical why do you think somethings going on with us?" I asked confused to his behaviour.
"Hmm let's see...one moment you don't like him much then next minute you're besties with each other. Were you just pretending to hate him so I wouldn't think anything was going on?" Soobin interrogated
"Stop it soobin you're reading too much into it" I tried to calm the situation
"Am i?" He raised his eyebrow
"Whatever I'm not dealing with this go ask Yeonjun if you can't trust your BESTFRIEND" I got up from my seat and left the cafeteria.

The walk to the ice cream shop was awkward.
No one spoke.
Kai and soobin had a disagreement.
Yeonjun just wanted to spend time with his friends but now he didn't know what to do.
He felt if he got involved they would just tell him it had nothing to do with him.
So he walked along side them in silence.
Until they reached their destination.
"You guys want mint chocolate?" Yeonjun asked once they got to the counter knowing someone had to speak up.
"What ew no" soobin pulled a face of disgust
"Soobin hates mint chocolate didn't you know?" Kai chuckled.
"I guess we never got into a discussion on the topic of ice cream" Yeonjun joked
"Beomgyu hates mint chocolate too you guys are boring" Yeonjun shook his head.
"Hey I love mint chocolate!" Kai yelled.
"Excuse me would you guys care to order?" The staff spoke up.
"Oh sorry yeah" Yeonjun bit his lip. The three got into a debate of mint chocolate that they didn't realise they held up the line.
"We'll take mint chocolate and soobin?" Yeonjun turned to him asking what he wanted
"I'll just take a vanilla" soobin shrugged
"Boringggg" Yeonjun sang
"Shut up at least it doesn't taste like toothpaste" soobin rolled his eyes
The three took their ice creams and left the shop.
They walked around the streets for a little while, more relaxed now that the awkward silence had passed.
When it hit 5pm they decided to go home.
"You going to be okay?" Yeonjun asked kai
"Mhmm don't worry" Kai reassured him
"Good. Well ima walk soobin home you're fine getting home from here right?" Yeonjun questioned
"Of course it's only down the road" kai chuckled
"Okay good. I'll see you later then" Yeonjun said his goodbye
"Later soobin" kai yelled as the boy stood a little down the road
Soobin sent a small wave and smile back.
"I'll talk to him don't worry about it" Yeonjun whispered
"Thanks" Kai smiled. "I'll see you tomorrow, byeee"

"TAEHYUNNIE IM HOMEEEE" I yelled as I climbed the stairs of my house.
"Taehyun?" I questioned as I got no response.
Opening my bedroom door I noticed he wasn't sitting waiting for me like usual.
"Tae?" I called out again.
I checked every room in the house but to no avail he wasn't here.
"Did you go to beomgyu's?" I thought out loud not expecting a response anymore.
I sat down on my bed and pouted.
What do I do without taehyun here?
I'm bored.
I sighed deciding to just sit on my phone till he returned.
A few hours had passed and Kai's dad had returned home.
And he suddenly didn't feel so safe now taehyun was away.
His dad climb the stairs and as Kai's bedroom door opened he whispered to himself
Taehyun please come back.
