I was standing outside Kenny's and Ellie's school waiting to pick them up when the lady that Opie tried to introduce me to but that didn't go as planned showed up.

"Oh, so you're here to pick them up huh?" she asked 

I looked at her.

"Yea I'm now on the list. Opie made sure  that I was on there" I replied

"I thought he forgot them again" she says

"I'm sure its not on purpose" I replied

"Half the time I couldn't tell you about him anymore," she says

I say nothing just stand there in silence as I waiting.

"are you really with Opie or is it just bullshit?" She asked

"we are seriously together.it no game or anything that anyone might think." I replied

"so what d you do?" she asked

"Physical therapist" I replied

"St.Thomas?" 

I nodded my head

"So you met Tara already then?" 

" yea, she welcomed me to the St.Thomas family" I replied

"she's always the one who seems as though she's friendly but a total nark and backstabber when she gets to know a whole lot about you," she says

" She didn't seem that bad. thought I only just met her" I replied

She huffed before shaking her head.

"look if you're gonna last long and be part of the club then you don't need to be gullible," she says

"I'm not. I just don't judge people when I hardly know them. yea I take into consideration what people say about that said person but I tend to learn about them myself" I replied

"right well since you're here I will be going." she says then leaves

"bye. have a nice day" I replied

she huffs as she slips on her sunglasses and walks off.

After she left Kenny and Ellie walked out and rush over to give me a great big hug which I gladly return.

"Ready to go?" I asked

"Yeah" they replied 

So I took their hands and lead them to my car helping them place their backpacks in the front seat before we all three climbed.

"any homework?" I asked

"No cause it's we are on season break starting tomorrow so they just want us to enjoy it," Kenny says

"Well that's good, bet you two are excited you don't have any homework and just get a good break from school," I say

 "We like school" Ellie says

"But some breaks are great too" Kenny finishes

"I was like that when I was younger. I enjoyed school as well as the break so I could recharge my battery and be ready for when school started back."

"what does that mean?" Kenny asked

"you know how you feel tired sometimes and you just need a break then once you've had your break your good to go?" I asked

"Yea?" he replied

"that's basically what it means. " I tell him

"Oh okay," he says

I pulled up to the house seeing Opie was already home.

"looks like your dad beat us here," I tell them as we all climbed out and they rushed inside while I grabbed their backpacks and follow them inside once I locked my car up.

I could hear Kenny and Ellie telling Opie all about their day and how they are happy they get to recharge their batteries during the break. 

I smiled as I shut the door and hung up the keys before I joined them in the living room.

Opie smiled as he looked at them then up at me.

"well go put up you backpacks and change clothes then we can decide what we will do for the rest of the day," Opie tells them

"Alright," they say in unison before walking off.

I walked up to him and smiled before I kissed him then took his beanie and put it on my head as I ruffled his hair making him laugh before kissing me.

"you look very sexy in this beanie," I tell him

"Oh, yea?" 

I nodded my head

"well you make it look much better," he says

"Thanks," I say then kiss him again before we sat on the couch and waited for the kids to come and join us so we could decide what we wanna do for the remainder of the day.
