With that, Shawn, my older brother, left my room. Hi, I'm Peter-Jefferson, better known as PJ. I'm just an ordinary student, except for being highly talented in swimming. And today, my brother and I, as well as 22 more of our friends, are moving to Zodiac Avenue! Zodiac Avenue is an expansive property with eight identical two-story houses, a garage that could fit eight cars, a dining hall, a swimming pool, a basketball court, a garden, a vast lawn, and even a private beach. These houses were painted differently based on our signs. At each home, there's a huge basement. Each basement has its purposes; an indoor gym, band room, game room, pet lounge, study room, mini library, arts and crafts room, and a home theater.
Our parents think it's a good way for us to socialize more with our friends and be more independent in life - but we all know they're just tired of our shit and want to kick us out - just kidding! My parents love us so much; they would never kick us out. Well, adoptive parents, my parents died when I was five in a house fire, and the firefighter who saved us, as well as his husband, adopted us afterward. They're the best adoptive parent any child could have.
I took a quick shower, well, if you consider 30 minutes is quick, got dressed, and packed the remaining clothes in my wardrobe. See, we don't need to move our furniture because Zodiac Avenue is fully furnished from top to bottom with our style preference and color palette. Mine is sea-green. While people said it looks like bleached-out puke or some sort of alien slime, it looks great to me. I don't know why, but I love that color. Maybe because my parents used to bring me to the beach to swim, well, my adoptive parents did that as well.
Moving on, you must be wondering who Carlos is, right? Well, Carlos is my closest friend. He's the cutest boy in my class who has the brightest smile. He's very talented at all kinds of visual arts. I like Carlos because of his very kind heart and his supportiveness of my passion. I'm lucky to have a friend like that.
