Your point of view

It was 9 p.m and Papa still hadn't come home

For several minutes , my eyes were fixed only on the wall clock which was above the TV in the living room

I had been sitting on the sofa for 1 hour now

My legs were folded against my chest , i was very scared

Fear of the noises in the house

The fridge , the hallway and even the floor was noisy !

" When is he coming back ? "

Seconds later , i heard the front door open

Which startled me

" Is this a monster coming to devour me ?"

" I hope not , i am too young to be eaten ! And besides , i still haven't become a veterinarian ! "

So , i hid under my blanket that i had put on the sofa

I was all shaking

I hope the awful monster won't find me !

........No ! ....I have to be brave !

I looked at my teddy bear that i was holding in my arms

" What do you think Mr.Marshmallow ?"

Then , i nodded to pretend my teddy bear answered my question

" You're right , i'll go fight this monster !"

Next , i got up gently , and tiptoed to the front door , and ...

" Hey ! Monster ! If you don't leave my house right now , I will..."

Suddenly , I realized who it was

" Monster ? "

" Papa ? "

It was daddy !

He had just come home from work , he was in front of the front door

He was untied his hair

Without waiting 1 more second , i ran to him and grabbed one of his legs

" Otōsan ! "

He tilted his head a little to look at me , he smiled

" Hi , Nezumi-Chan ( Mouse ) "

He told me while stroking the top of my head

After , I pulled away from his leg and raised my arms in the air , which meant i wanted him to carry me

" Um...do you want me to carry you ? "

You nodded gently , hoping that he would agree to carry you

Without hesitation, he carried you and hugged you against his chest , you took the opportunity to put your head on his shoulder

" I'm sorry i didn't arrive before sweatheart , i had a lot of work "

He apologized while stroking your hair

" I'm sorry that you were so scared , i'm so sorry "

He apologized several times , but even though you were scared , you didn't blame him
