Chapter three

              Pony has finished reading a few chapters to me when someone walks through the door its not the person i was hoping it would be but it was somebody I'm always happy to see "soda your home!" I say exited jumping up and running to him, Soda was like a second brother to me and he saw me as a little sister. Because well like Darry told me Soda always wanted a little sister but when their mom and dad died last year his hopes of getting one was shattered
So he just decided to treat me like his sister

I run into his arms his DX shirt having car oil on it and some sweat "yep and i brought you your favorite" he says holding up my favorite snack in bis hands kinda wiggling it, Soda occasionally will pick up my favorite snack for me after his shift. After me trying to reach for it because soda is holding it up above his head teasing me "soda stop teasing her" Darry says walking into the living room pointing a rolled up newspaper at soda causing me smirk at soda, knowing he has now lost.

He rolls his eyes at me before handing me the bag then taking three steps back away from me, i open it and take one of the gummies and extend my arm out to soda "want one" i ask looking at him with innocent eyes he just chuckles and shake his head slowly while looking down "Don't give me those innocent eyes ami" Ami is a nickname he used when we first met and now he always calls me it i smile and go sit back down next to pony who has his head in a book like always...

I put the gummy that i wanted to give soda on the page of his book causing him to glance at it and then look at me who wasn't looking at him all the way but giving him the side eye "just eat it your acting like i put poison on your book" i joke rolling my eyes...

30 minutes later someone well two people walk through the door "J-johnny?" I say not even knowing if it was him or not "yeah bear its me" ~ i jump up and run to him i stuff my head in his neck "i-I'm sorry brother" i say starting to cry "hey hey shh nothing was your fault i just over reacted" he starts to smoothly rub my back "can you look at me bear" he asks as nicely as possible but i really don't want too so I don't, i hear him sigh making me feel bad so i look at him with sad eyes " i was just scared your my little sister and i Don't want to loose you or for someone to break your heart you mean to much to me Amelia" he says placing his cold hand on my cheek rubbing my tears away softly "and I'm sorry for yelling at you i know how much it scares you can you forgive me?" He says more as a question because of the last part

"Of course i forgive you I'm just glad your back!" I say hugging him tighter stuffing my face in his neck again missing his scent that was the truth...

Today is the day my fourteenth birthday i wish i had my parents to celebrate it with me but they were out of town right now, but if i wanna be honest with myself and I probably should even if they were here they wouldn't care about me they probably don't even remember that today is my birthday I lift the blanket off my face and stretch my arms like very morning i look over at the clock 10:00 AM I probably should get up i have a long day i slowly get out of bed
And walk to dirty dresser and pull out some mom jeans my favorite black belt and my sage green crop top with my old black converses

I walk down the squeaky stairs and into the kitchen
To the fridge that of course has like zero food the only time it has food is when Johnny gets enough money to go get food for us "JHONNY" i yell throughout the house hoping he would hear me i was about to yell his name again until i saw a not on the fridge
'Not here meet me at the Curtis house, i left my switchblade on the table in the living room DON'T leave without it happy birthday bear'

I smile at the note and walk to the living room to see Johnnys switchblade on the table, but that did make me worry that something might have happened to him and he didn't have his switchblade with him so i did worry but i hoped for the best because i know that if something did happen to him one of the gang members would of called or came over or told me so I wasn't that worried anymore.

I arrived to the Curtis household making me smile it felt more like my home then anything in this planet i run to the door and open the door to see the whole gang there including my boyfriend Mark Which kind of made me kind of sad. He is my boyfriend i am supposed to be happy right? Well we started dating 1 year ago it was good in the beginning but about 3 months ago he started getting jealous really easily and that caused a lot of fights between us it sometimes even became abusive so I'm careful around boys when he is around. Im used to my parents beating me but when it comes to someone i think loves me, and someone that i care about it hurts more.

Pony immediately jumps up and runs up to me like he is the flash "are you happy to be 14" he asks
"No dice" i say causing him to give me a look of confusion "Mrs. Smith told us that a good phase shut it" i say crossing my arms he chuckles and try's to hug me, but i put both my hands on his chest and lightly push him away from me. He gives me a look of concern i just shake my head and walk over to Mark who is on the floor i sit down next to him and cuddle to his side, that doesn't feel the same as it used too. "Hey babe" he says in a annoyed voice
i look down and play with my fingers "Hey birthday girl! I made your favorite" Darry says walking into the living room with a Strawberry cake i give him a warm smile "thank you Darry it looks delicious"
He places it on the table and sits on his arm chair

"Happy birthday bear!" Johnny says~
"Happy birthday Ami!" Soda says ~
"Happy birthday Angel!" Pony says ~
"Happy birthday Amelia!" Steve says ruffling my hair~
"Happy birthday baby girl" Darry says coming up to me and kissing the top of  my head in a dad way
"Happy birthday kid" two says staring at the cake making me ket out a small laugh

"So Amelia i got you something do you wanna see it?" Pony asks making my eyes widen "pony i told you not to get me nothing being here with you guys is more then enough" i say looking at my lap "i know i know but i really wanted to get you something" he says standing up and grabbing something from the bathroom and returning with it "heads up" he yells throwing the box and luckily i catch it i open it to see a ring a pretty one too

"Its so pretty pony" i say my mind shook to its core
"Yep and i have the matching one" he says showing me his hand and yep the other ring is placed on bis ring finger, at this point i Don't care if mark gets mad i need to hug pony "Thank you pon" i say happily jumping into his arms resting my head on his shoulder "no problem im glad you like it

Mark had called me outside saying he wanted to talk to me and trust me, i knew where this was going
"What was that in there Amelia?!" He yells at me pointing his finger at the house "me hugging my best friend" i say looking down suddenly a hard slap comes to my cheek bone my hand immediately going to where he hit me "c-calm down" i say backing up
Suddenly the un expected happened Dally walks up behind mark holding a heater to his head "go away now" he says in a strict tone to mark "what bro, I didn't even do anything" Mark says trying to lie well thats never a good idea you never lie to THE Dallas Winston. "Oh don't even lie i saw everything everyone did now go to before i shoot the heater?!" Dally yells making Mark run away probably faster then pony runs and that says something i take a deep breathe "thanks Dal" i say patting his shoulder "no problem cade"
