A month later, I find myself sitting on a cold bleacher in front of a boxing ring. I've been dragged here by a tinder date, and I regret agreeing to come. I don't even like him. He's cute and all but annoying as fuck.

"Who's fighting?" I ask him. He wraps his arm around my shoulder and I shift uncomfortably. He doesn't take the hint.

"Thomas Caleb and Grayson Dolan. Grayson is undefeated, he's gonna win tonight" he says confidentially. I nod.

"Cool," I hum. He nods right away.

"Look, they're coming out!" he says excitedly. I chuckle and turn my head.

As the announcer says Thomas's name, he walks out of a dark corner, jumping through the ropes and onto the large mat. Loud music plays through the small arena, but I don't recognize it. He waves to the crowd and some cheer, throwing their hands in the air.

He's kind of cute, to be honest. He looks to be around six feet tall, and his arms look bigger than my head. He has long brown hair that's pulled into a bun on the back of his head.

The music changes, and this time I recognize it as a Cage The Elephant song. I used to listen to it all the time in high school.

"Fuck yes" Malachi curses, looking to the other side. I have to hold back a gasp when a certain brown-haired boy steps out. He walks out from the back, confidence flowing from him. Someone walks with him, his hands in his pockets as he smirks. He looks the same as Grayson. He has a twin?

Malachi obviously feels me tense but doesn't say anything, thankfully. He's too distracted by Grayson. The crowd erupts in screams when Grayson quickly waves his hand. I almost want to cover my ears, they're so loud. I guess they like him.

Grayson's eyes scan over the crowd and I quickly look down to avoid eye contact. God, I hope he doesn't recognize me. I don't know why he would, since it's been a month and we barely met each other, but I hope he doesn't anyway. I look back up as he looks away.

The music makes everything so much better.

He smoothly climbs into the ring, his eyes now on his opponent with a small smirk. If he looked at me like that, I'd most definitely cry. Thomas simply looks back.

The man that walked out stands next to the ring, wrapping his arm around a girl. I can't really see her, but I can tell she's pretty.

The referee speaks into a microphone to go over the rules before he steps back out of the way. My stomach twists with nerves as the bell rings. I don't know why I came, I hate seeing people hurt. Flashbacks to my college days jut into my mind, but I quickly push them away.
