"We can eat donuts together if you want?" [Hanako x reader]

CHAPTER 2!!

Next day rolls around and I still hadn't came up with a good wish. I had been overthinking the whole thing last night just wondering if any wish would be good enough. And indeed I came up with nothing. I went to school empty handed the next day.

"Hey y/n! Did you have any luck summoning Hanako yesterday?" Yashiro asked me excitedly at the school gate. It was raining that morning and she was holding her umbrella over me since I forgot mine home.
"Oh no I'm sorry he didn't show up." I lied. I didn't want to make Yashiro any more upset over the fact she did't manage to summon him.

"Aww that sucks but it's alright I think. Somebody's gonna ask me out eventually right." She said more like to herself while we walked inside. Her head was always in the clouds. When we got inside the school building my shoes were already completely soaked. But it's no big deal they'll dry while I'm in class hopefully.

The whole day went so fast and slow at the same time. I didn't get much sleep last night and kept accidently dozing off. Yashiro kept me awake as much as possible luckily.

"Y/n did you sleep well last night? you seem so sleepy." Yashiro asked me in the back of the classroom. It was our last class and right after I'd have to go back to Hanako.

"Yeah I had a lot of school work I'm fine. Thank you for keeping me awake." I yawned.
"You're welcome!" Nene whispered so the teacher wouldn't hear us. 

Soon enough the bell rang and students kept pushing out of the door. It was still raining cats and dogs outside. Let's hope the rain will stop before I'll go home. I got off my seat with my bag.
"Do you wanna walk home together so you wouldn't get wet?" Nene offered her umbrella as she was packing her bag. 

"Oh sorry I need to use the restroom you can go without me!" I handed the umbrella back to her and rushed out of the classroom with my bag. Luckily Nene didn't seem to follow me so I calmly walked up to the bathroom.

I grabbed the door handle and instantly stopped. I got so overwhelmed suddenly and I didn't even know why. I couldn't open the door. So naturally I just stood there like an idiot.

Students walked past me while I was freaking out. Hanako was a ghost right. Could he kill me? Would he kill me if he could because I didn't have a wish? God why am I like this.

As I was still thinking the door slowly opened. Hanako stood right in front of me smiling.
"Hey you got a wish now?" Hanako spooked me. I let go of the door handle and took a step back.

"You can't touch me right? You'll just go right through me if you try to punch me." I asked. I was just making sure he couldn't kill me. I tried to make it sound like I wasn't scared when I asked it but I was so shaky I might've even sounded like I was terrified.

"Yeah it sucks doesn't it." Hanako said and slid his hand around inside me.
"Anywho I didn't come up with a wish im so sorry." I mumbled hoping he didn't actually hear me.

"Oh you don't have a wish? Aww do I need to wait longer?" Hanako sighed. So he did hear.
"I'm very very sorry. But I promise I'll come up with something for tomorrow!" I said not knowing if I really meant it or not.

Hanako was quiet for a moment.
"Huh but why'd you ask me if I could touch you or not?" Hanako asked out of nowhere.
"Do you want to touch me that bad? That's naughty!" Hanako continued and shook his head.

"What no that's not it at all!" I yelled out. Hanako what the fuck.
"Well what if I wanted to touch you would that be a good wish for you?" Hanako asked and pretended to pet me on my head.

"No no no no let me think on my own I promise I'll come up with a wish!" I answered quick. I didn't want him to come up with my wish even if it was better than what I'd ever come up with.
"Fine but I'll make it come true if you don't have a wish for me tomorrow." Hanako giggled and floated to his stall. Well now I had even more of a reason to come up with a wish. Who knows what'll Hanako do if he gets a hold of me.

"Hey I never got your name did I?" Hanako peeked out of the stall.
"Oh yeah my name's y/n. I would ask for your name too but I've heard that it's Hanako." I answered sarcastically. Hanako then waddledup to me from the stall. He looked me straight in the eyes.
"So since I have to wait longer for your wish I thought in the mean time you could help me a bit?" Hanako asked me while still staring right at me.

"Yeah of course I'm not busy or anything." I replied and gave him a thumbs up. Hanako looked really happy.
"Thanks for offering to clean my bathroom!" Hanako cheered and handed me a mop and a water bucket.

"Aha so this is what I have to handle." I took the mop and bucket from Hanako. I mean maybe this could buy me more time to think for a wish. Better just deal with it for now. Hanakos not the worst person to hang around after all. 

"So you'll clean my bathroom until you get a wish!" Hanako exclaimed while sitting on the window border. It must've stopped raining already because I couldn't hear the raindrops but I did still see them racing eachother on the window.
"Yup will do!" I told him confident enough to say I will come up with the wish for tomorrow. No more bathroom cleaning for me in this school.
