The happy fun mood of the day had been ruined, even though some of them tried to make light of things. Lasar being here weighed heavy on Raven and he knew that this would complicate things for his family.

"We were just going to go get food, is there anywhere you'd like to eat Laser?" Kayli was trying to show some courtesy towards him, maybe trying kill him with kindness.

"I do not care." Lasar said, his jaw set firmly. "I am not picky like American scum."

Kayli rolled her eyes while several of the guys exchanged glances. Raven made sure to sit himself near Lasar and Kayli away, so that they wouldn't fight. If Lasar decided to pull anything in the van, then Raven would be able to take care of him long before he could reach her, leaving her safe. It ended up leaving Brandon sitting on his other side.

Lasar narrowed his eyes on Brandon, his nose wrinkling in disgust and his mouth twitching into a snarl of hatred and disgust. "You smell like су́ка." He said, then added in complete Russian. "Is this your prostitute friend, Ravenstahl?"

Brandon visibly stiffened, glancing at Kayli, who looked completely lost as to what he was saying.

"No, stop insulting my family." Raven said, the tension radiating off of him. Being around him was going to be exhausting, he had forgotten how much Lasar usually insulted people. That's probably what got him in so much trouble in the first place.

"Family? I am your family." Lasar kept himself leaned slightly away from Brandon's berry smell that was stinking up the entire van.

Raven watched him intently, trying to figure out how much to tell him about his family and his situation. "Family means something different to us. Family in here." He said, tapping on his chest.

Lasar looked back at him like he had just grown a leg out of his forehead, before his expression darkened and he fell silent.

In fact, he fell silent through the whole drive, only speaking again when they went to order at McDonalds. Lasar insisted paying for his own, passing Russian currency across the counter to the clerk.

The greasy faced clerk stared at the money, his expression never changing from boredom as he glanced back to Lasar. "We don't accept that."

"We can pay for it Lasar." Marc said.

"It is money, you will take it." Lasar glared back at the guy, completely ignoring Marc.

"It's not american currency, I'll need to check with the manager on that." The guy spoke, heaving a big sigh as if it was the biggest inconvenience in the world. They stood staring at each other for several minutes before Lasar finally spoke.

"Then check."

"He's on lunch break." The guy said, chewing on a piece of gum.

"Then get him." Lasar stated, clenching his hands at his sides. Raven knew the look all too well, he was holding himself back, but things could only end badly.

The man sighed. "Dude, it's not my problem that you don't have any real money."

Faster then lightning, Lasar grabbed the mans neck, half dragging him over the counter. "I can kill you 82 different ways," He grabbed one of the plastic signs from the counter, snapped it in half with one hand to create a sharp blade. "820 with this. Take the money you disgusting American pig." Lasar snarled into his face, looking ready to slit the guy open.

"Okay, okay man! I'm sorry!" The man yelped, for once his expression changing from boredom.

Lasar let go of his shirt, his eyes sharp and gleaming. "Very good."

Raven grasped the shard of plastic from Lasar's hand, slamming it down onto the counter before grasping his shoulder and directing him towards the door. Corey and Marc stayed behind for a few minutes, leaving extra money for the clerk to keep quiet while apologizing profusely.

"You were to keep a low profile, that was part of the deal." Axel stated with authority as he walked with Raven and Lasar.

"If that man had been in Russia, he would be dead." Lasar stated.

"You're not in Russia anymore, you have to abide by the law and our rules." Axel opened the door to the van, getting in.

There was a long road ahead of them to getting Lasar to be anywhere near where they needed him to be to make it here.
