Chapter 2: Stranger

I closed my eyes as my tears fell. I remember how Drew hold my hands infront of all the people. I remember when he kissed my forehead everytime he wanted too. I loved it when he hugged me tight as he misses me.

"Loved you at your worst
But that didn't matter
It took you two weeks to go out and date her
Guess you didn't cheat"

I can't continue the song because I know that he cheated on me. Masakit and I can't deny what I'm feeling.

" You have a beautiful voice why did you stop?" He smirked at me. I curiously took a look at him.

The man is in a plain white shirt with a denim pants in the bottom. I arched my eyebrow.

"And who are you to mind my business?" I irritatedly ask. Nabwibwiset ako sinira niya pag eemote ko.

"Oh, easy okay? Aalis na sana ako kaso I've heard your voice kaya I decided na silipin ka" he said with a convincing tone. Right now, I'm in the videoke club and I rent one room for me to let my emotions go.

"I don't need your explanation, you intruder. Just go!" binato ko ang isang lata ng beer sa may pinto kung saan siya nakatayo.

"Ouch! Hoy masakit yun ha" tumatawa siya habang lumalapit sa couch na kinalalagyan ko.

"Ang sabi ko umalis ka" ininom ko ang laman ng isang baso ng beer nang hindi man lang humihinto. At naramdaman ko ang biglaang pagkahilo ko. I hate my alcohol tolerance nakailang beer pa lang ako kaso feeling ko babaliktad na ang sikmura ko.

"I don't wanna leave. Sasamahan kita rito" maawtoridad na sabi niya. Sasamahan daw? Tsk, I don't even know him.

"Siya lang ang minahal ko nang ganito. We've been together almost 6 years pero pinagpalit niya lang ako sa isang babaeng mukhang palaka na yon!" dinuro duro ko ang hangin na para bang inis na inis ako rito. Lasing na lasing na ako but I can still utter my words correctly.

"Kaya naman pala umiinom ka" he look at me with a curious face. Then I laughed at him.

"Ako? Umiinom dahil sa kanya? Bakit sino ba siya para maging dahilan ng paglasing ko ha? HAHAHAHA" then my tears suddenly fell. "Siya lang naman si Drew na minahal ko nang totoo. Siya yung dahilan kung bakit ako nabubuhay parin ngayon kahit na ang dami nang nangyari sa buhay ko na hindi maganda." Now I'm crying like a baby na nagsusumbong sa tatay niya.

"I'm fighting just to live and stay by his side but he finds a way for me to let go." He gently grab my head and lean it to his shoulder and I don't refuse kasi kailangan ko nang taong makikinig sa mga hinaing ko sa buhay.

"Why do people that I love always hurt me? They always make lies. Why can't they be honest to me?" I look into his eyes, he's looking at me too with a concerned face. He then wipe my tears with his thumb.

"I don't know, people always do stupid things" he said and that make me smile. I move a little farther to him. "Parang hindi ka tao sa pagkakasabi mo nun ha." I smiled to him and things got blurry, all that I see is he smiled too.

"Hazey Lauie de Vella!" nagising ako sa isang malakas na pagsigaw na nagmula sa kung saan. Hinila niya ang kumot na nakapalupot sa katawan ko kaya naman nahulog ako sa sahig.
