"so how was your first-day bubba?" ariah asked
ariah is my older sister she goes to the college around the corner and instead of wasting money she stays with us but besides that yeah she called me bubba since I was a newborn and not planning to stop any time soon
"it was aight" I say through my smile thinking about ree
"nigga..it's been one day who got you smiling like that already" ariah hits my arm so I hit her back just not as hard
"nigga ain't yo girlfriend picking you up or sum?" I say ignoring her completely
"and ain't you supposed to be heading to school don't be late" I look at my phone and she ain't lying, I run upstairs spray some CK obsession even tho its perfume it has this sweat masculine smell to it one of my favs I swear I head back down I see my parents are up. mom is at the refrigerator and pops right behind her with his arms around her body
'Ma probably made him get up' I thought to myself
"I'm heading out I love you guys" I hear everyone saying love yous so I walk out hopping into my car heading to school
'I wonder if ree is there already'
man he can't get out of my head for real tho I wonder if I'm stuck in his head like he is in mines getting out my thoughts I pull into school parking my car I get out looking around I see Imani and ree walking in you will think he won't come early because he has free period then I remember them saying that he was picking up Imani today
I was heading their way before some girl stopped in front of me
"so wazzup" I look at the girl that said sum
"yo what yu mean I don't even know you"
"boi stop playing I was the one that sat in front of you in third period" I try to think about yesterday
"OH the annoying bitch friend ain't you supposed to be on the sidelines following every move she does or sum?" she looks at me like I'm crazy then walks away
I head my way to ree and Imani when I finally get there a smile make to my face ree is putting his books in his locker so his back is facing me, I walk up but before Imani says something I put my finger to my lips shushing her she nods and goes back to what she was saying as ree puts his last books in and closing his locker I grab his waist pulling him up and screaming to scare him
"AHHhbaB" when I put him down he turns around with my hands still on his waist he hits my chest but that made me and Imani laugh even harder "that's not funny" he cross his arms trying to look angry but he's trying not to laugh himself
