"Don't do that, Zaika!"

Lila's voice grew higher pitched as she panicked, but even still, Zaika couldn't help but giggle. She glanced over with a smile as she heard her friend's voice.

"Why not," Zaika jokingly whined in response, "it's not like I'm gonna fall or- WOAH!"

Zaika then suddenly felt her balance shift to the side, but hastily went back to standing upwards. Still, she was feeling a little shaky.

"ZAIKA!"

Lila flinched, hard.

"I'm fine, I'm fine! I need to be up here, anyways!"

"It's not worth it, really! Get a ladder or something, please!"

"No!"

"Zaika!"

Right as Lila used her ghostly powers to float up and appeared like she was about to pick up Zaika herself, Higan entered the room. Her hair showed clearly that she was previously deep asleep in her room. Without a second thought, as she saw the situation at hand, she shouted out,

"You can do it, Zaika!"

"Higan, NO!"  Lila reacted with strain.

Higan responded with a smile. Lila glanced over at Higan with a glare, before focusing back on the newly confident Zaika. She was holding several spider stickers, and now tried again to raise one to the flat ceiling. Lila tried to think of any way of getting her down, then she sighed, commenting,

"Well, how do you plan to take those off afterwards? We wouldn't want to put them on without-"

"Oh. We won't."

Zaika looked back at Lila, and out of habit (or as she would insist to her later, anyways,) stuck her tongue out. Lila squinted her eyes before chuckling it off, weakly sticking her tongue out back. Still, that didn't get her down, so Lila had to think of something else that might work.

"If you get down right now, I'll bake a pie just for you."

"Nah, no thanks. I already ate."

"...Even if I put the spider decorations we bought on it?"

Zaika momentarily considered getting down, but then shook her head. Lila put her arms on her waist and continued to try to coax Zaika down, when Higan- who was watching this all go down in the doorway- came up with an idea.

"Hey, guys!"

"Hm?" Both Lila and Zaika said in unison, looking over to her. She paused for a moment, before continuing,

"There's, uh... something that I wanted to show you both! Yeah. It'll only take a moment."

"Oh, sure," Zaika said without hesitation. Higan left the room, preparing something. Lila scowled at the situation, wondering how Higan could let Zaika get herself into so much danger. Then as she came back, Lila tried to have a more stern expression than upset. She thought to herself, She probably doesn't know much better, anyway. Lila looked, and, oh heavens, her expectations were shattered.

"A fake bee!? " She couldn't believe what it. That was sure to make Zaika fall, due to her deathly fear of bees! She prepared to catch Zaika once more.

"Noononono," Higan insisted before a dramatic pause. "I can assure you they're real."

Lila glanced back and noticed Zaika, frozen up. Higan couldn't help but smile- though, only because Zaika terribly scared her with a mechanical spider a few days ago. Otherwise, she would've probably felt bad, but she could always find fun in getting tasteful revenge.

"Now! If you don't get off the couch, I'll, uhh... throw this right at you!"

Then, without a word, she began to lower herself from the couch. Out of anticipation and impulse, Lila held her gloved hands out to possibly catch her. Higan approached the couch, standing at the opposite side of Lila.

"D... Don't..." Zaika's voice was shaky.

First, she put her hands on top of the couch and went into a crawling position, glancing back and forth between it and Higan. Finally, she moved down and sat up on the arm of the couch, before putting her feet on the ground and going completely down. She held her hands in front of herself defensively.

"Okay... okay, I'm on the ground, don't... don't throw it please."

"Thanks!" Higan gave her a warm smile, but Zaika was hardly comforted. She was too busy glancing between her and the fake bee she held.

"Do you want me to put this awa-"

"-Yes. Please." Zaika then tried to mimic Higan's smile, attempting to convince her further. Though Zaika's spiked upper lip made it somewhat challenging, Higan got the picture. Lila kept her hands on her waist; she was disapproving of the method Higan used, yet, still impressed in how well it worked.

"Ok!" Higan winked, before exiting back to where she came from.

Zaika wordlessly held onto Lila's wrist, still shaken up from the situation. Her gloves let Zaika not phase through her wrist.

"You... know that bee was fake, correct?"

"Mmhm."

"Alright." Lila thought for a moment before continuing,

"...How about we both sit down on the couch, properly, and watch TV?"

"Y- ..Yeah. Yeah, that sounds cool." Zaika softened her grip.

"Great. Let's watch something calm, then, shall we?"

And so, Lila led Zaika to the couch, and they both gently sat down. Then, with the flick

of a remote, they began to relax.
