Ren-chan — Do you think you could write headcannons for The main quartet (Gon, Killua, Kurapika, Leorio) And a darling that gets nightmares constantly and ends up clinging to them due to their fears? Like how would they react to this?

Gon Freeces

✞ sweet boy

✞ whenever he hears his darling having a nightmare, he's quick to wake up and run to their side

✞ he's so worried about them

✞ he does his best to calm them down, but like he honestly would have such a hard time doing that

✞ so he'll just hug them, which is probably why they start clinging to he

✞ he'd also get super emotional

✞ if his darling is crying, he's crying with them

✞ if they're not crying, he's crying for them

✞ either way I feel like he'd get super emotional and end up crying

✞ which his darling will probs get confused about and be like "why are you crying? i'm the one with the nightmare"

✞ and he's just like "shsovdidbdidb I DUNNO"

✞ which probably ends up cheering up his darling, even if it's just a little

✞ he does his best, very sweet

Killua Zoldyck

✞ so he's like super emotionally disconnected

✞ so he'd just kinda be there like: 🧍

✞ especially if they're crying

✞ and when they start clinging to him he just awkwardly hugs them back

✞ kinda sucks at comforting but honestly with all his trauma you can't blame him

✞ when they've calmed down and stuff, he'll offer them chocolate or video games to try and get their mind off the nightmare

✞ I feel like he gets kind of mad at himself for not being able to comfort you and will most likely buy something you really like afterwards to make up for it

Kurapika

✞ due to his trauma, I can see him having nightmares fairly often too

✞ not as much as his darling, but still

✞ he'd be very comforting

✞ he'll wake his darling up if he sees them having a nightmare

✞ when they start clinging to him, he'll run his fingers through your hair to help calm you down

✞ he'd probably whisper some comforting words as well, and maybe even start humming if the situation calls for it

✞ I can see him relaxing them so much that they end up falling back asleep in his arms

✞ then he'd probably tuck them into bed, or lie down with them and fall asleep

✞ overall vety comforting, probably one of the best people at dealing with his darling's nightmares

Leorio Paladinight

✞ he's also really good at comforting his darling

✞ if their nightmare starts getting really bad, he'll wake them up, but if it's not too bad he'll leave them alone and hope that it passes quickly

✞ but if they wake up and start clinging to him, he'll rub their back and arms to try to calm them down

✞ he'll walk his darling through breathing exercises and use EFT tapping to further help

✞ he'll use other techniques and such, anything that he thinks will help his darling the most

✞ when they've calmed down, he'll kiss their forehead and tell them it was just a nightmare and to go back to sleep

✞ he's probably the best at comforting his darling due to his experience in the medical field and having to deal with stressed patients and such
