NARRATOR !

Y/N woke up their backs hurt, their face was sweaty and generally they woke up bad today

they check the time : 8am

y/n groans as they look at the time, they stretch a little and then got up to get ready for the day

they opened the curtains but was met by a beaming ray of sun, they quickly close it back up again

Y/N POV !

I walk outside seeing licorice also just woke up, I didn't bother talking to him and just started walking down the hall to dark enchantress room

as I enter I was greeted by dark enchantress

"Oh what an unexpected visit, need anything?"

"mmm yes is there any extra quests I could take today?"

"yes actually here" she gave me a list with 1 task after that she shoo'd me off

I walk downstairs looking at the list:

EXTRA QUESTS

• — check or enhance the protection spell for the castle

pretty easy tasks I thought to myself, I enter the kitchen seeing everyone eating cereal

I saw licorice in the corner, head down he looked sad

I walk in and didn't bother to eat I just took the milk carton and walked back upstairs to my room

I sat down and looked for a protection enhancement spell and I found one but it was gonna cost a lot of my energy

I didn't really care and just went on with the spell putting all of my energy into it

after the spell I felt woozy my vision was blurred everything was spinning, I heard a knock on my door I said  come in with all the energy I could muster

it was licorice

LICORICE POV !

I saw Y/n just standing there staring at me I knew that enhancing the protection spell was gonna take alot of their energy I've done it before

"you should lay down c'mon" I grabbed their hand and led them to their bed laying them down

"here I know your tired so I brought some food and water to help you regain your energy"

I place the tray on their bedside table and suddenly they started crying

"Oh velvet I'm glad your here— I-"

VELVET DO THEY THINK IM VELVET???

They sat up to hug me and to bury their face on my chest I was quietly panicking because I'm not good with physical touch

"I really like lico- I can't  I just want him to be happy"

THEY LIKED ME WHAT?? no they're probably tired and slurry they don't know what they saying right?....

"uhm.. yeah you should rest I should go"

they let go of me I honestly wish they didn't and they layed back still teary eyed

I exit their room calmly and when I closed the door behind me I just started hyperventilating

I was shocked, confused so many emotions all at once were they telling the truth or..?

a/n: sorry for the slow updates I have been on school alot so expect more updates on the weekends for this week
