RELATIONSHIP WITH LOVE INTEREST: Eleanor was wed to the illegitimate son of James V on the 5th of June in the year of 1550, when she was 17 and he 19. The two barely knew one another at the start of their marriage — as it was arranged, but they eventually grew to have a fondness for one another. But the marriage wasn't perfect due the fact that James was a little more flirtatious with the ladies at court than Eleanor would have liked him to be, and what I'm trying to get at here was that they had numerous arguments and fights over said dalliances with the courtly ladies, but all that aside, they still maintain a relationship of mutual respect with one another.
