"WELL? HOW WAS IT?" PETRA asked expectantly, nearly the second that Y/N came to a stop outside their lockers the next morning.

She blew out a long breath, searching for the right words to describe the chaos with. Yesterday afternoon had probably blown a decade off her life, but at the same time the warm energy that the club room had been filled with was ... well, warming. " As much as I may hate to say it ... I enjoyed it."

Petra chuckled at that, holding open the other girl's locker door for her as they both unloaded their books into their arms and set off for their first class of the day.

"Oh, I forgot this was the week where we had Science two days in a row," Y/N groaned after she stole a last glance at the timetable stuck to the inside of her locker. "And isn't that project due?"

"Don't worry," Petra assured her, leaning against a nearby wall to let a chattering group of first-years pass them before they rounded the corner to the Science corridor. "Chase and I finished it after school yesterday, whilst you were being a good little tutor."

Y/N winced at that. "Well, I wouldn't say 'good', per se, I still have quite a bit to work on."

"Anyone who uses 'per se' in a casual sentence is an absolutely qualified tutor," Petra teased, though she cast her friend an affection glance to show that she meant it light-heartedly.
