Oh Death, why do I fear you exist?
You can end my suffering.
You can also take my pride and bliss.
Your presence begs questioning.

If eternal oblivion comes next,
Then what's the point of living?
We're just an insignificant dust,
On a vast world spinning.
Holding our morals, values, and love,
While all of it mean nothing.

Although if there is an afterlife,
Then it means that God exist.
Even if that make things meaningful,
It does not put me at ease.
It would mean for an eternal life.
Infinite of pain and bliss.

Everyday will have a tomorrow.
And that gives me thousand fears.
We'll bear each hour of infinity,
And after a trillion years,
We can say we're just getting started.
Endless time put me in tears.

I'm a godly man but death is shit!
Afterlife is what God tell,
Eternal life not eternal rest.
But with time, Heaven is Hell.
Eternal Life is as dread as
vanishing by Death's sickle.

What must I do with this marching Death?
After it reaps, the truth's told.
Live forever or evaporate.
Both are terrible and cold.
