Ever since I was 15, I would fly out to South Korea to spend the winter with
my biological dad.

At first, everything was pretty normal.
I would stay at his house, and as he went to work, I walked around town and did whatever to keep me busy.
Of course, if my mom and stepdad knew no one was watching me, they would never let me go to South Korea again. So we keep it between him and me.

Last winter, when I was 17, dad sat me down to talk with me. He told me I was old enough to know about what he does.
It turns out he hosts murderous kid games for his and others' entertainment.

I was shocked that my own dad would even take pleasure in doing that but, it explains why he was never around when I came here.

For the rest of the time I was there, I didn't say a single word to him. I was just purely disgusted at his actions. Eventually, as time went, on I kept thinking
back to it.
He told me how no one was forcing them to compete in it, only their own greed.

So, knowing that when next winter came around, dad was quite surprised that I wanted to come back.
I told him if I didn't, mom and Jack (stepdad) would get suspicious.

So now I'm here standing outside of the airport waiting to get picked up. It had to have been -4°F outside because I was freezing
my ass off.

As I stood there thinking why dad is taking forever to get me, a white van pulled up on the curb. The window rolled down, and inside was a man in a mask and pink jumpsuit.

"(y/n) (l/n)?"
He asked.

I nodded my head and smiled.
"That's me."

Then the back seat door slid open. Assuming this was my ride, I placed my bags in
and got in myself. I shut the door and situated myself in the seat.
Before I could ask any questions, something started to seep through the van.

As I breathed in, I began to feel sleepy, and before I knew it, I
was out cold

Sometime later, I woke up in bed. I quickly sat up and looked around. I was in a medium-sized room, with a desk, dresser, mirror, and two doors.

In the corner of the room were my two suitcases and duffel bag.
I patted my pockets and everything
was still in there.
I got even more confused.
I then got up and went over to the doors.

"One has to be a bathroom door, and the
other has to be the exit."

I decided to open the door on the left.
I grabbed the handle and opened it.

When I peered outside, I was met with two triangle masked guards in the same pink jumpsuit.
They were also holding large guns.

I looked at them and they looked at me.

"Haha, oops wrong door," I said
awkwardly.

I then quickly shut my door and pressed up against it.
Then a loud knock came from the other side.

"Open the door."
The voice boomed.
