I could feel the beach near my face
Wet feet close to the leather case
emptied, preemptive, relaxive
Why bother where I am right now?
Time wasted; I came with a crow
I checked my Swatch with every notch
Time rested; my toes have gone dry
I could sense the gale wind up high
Pictured the mountains with blue sky
If I could freeze the time then why
Holding back, wishing, and missing

Octosyllabic verses
Behind the scenes - had an amazing time enjoying the beach in El Nido with my family. There are happy memories I wished I could go back to but they are already lingering with the concept of time... and space. Our solar system is already a million miles farther from the next galaxy in our expanding universe. The memories are there. The photos are up here. I never lost them. I never lost you, mom.
