"Aein, let's go na?" Sabi ni Dionne na nasa baba na ng sasakyan. Si Gabi din nasa baba na, kami nalang talaga ni Tif ang nasa kotse, busy pa sa pag r-retouch. Nasa venue na kami ng wedding nung friend nila.
Bumaba na si Tif kaya sumunod na ako. Nakahawak ako sa braso ni Gabi habang papasok na kami. She's chatting with her friends habang di pa nag sisimula ang kasal. Kausap naman namin ni Tif yung iba kaya di naman kami naa-awkward.
While watching the wedding, I also kind of teary. Gabi held my hand tightly and kissed the back of my palm.
"We'll be in front soon, okay?" I bit my lower lip, trying hard not to cry. I nodded. "I love you."
Yumakap ako sa braso niya. "I love you."
"Red iced tea, love?" Alok ni Gabi, nakatayo sa gilid ko. Nasa reception hall na kasi kami.
"Lemon cucumber!" Gigil kong sabi kay Gabi nang natanaw ko yung drink na gusto ko.
I really love the smell of melon and cucumbers these days! I've even bought perfume, air freshener and etc., na melon and cucumber flavor. Ang refreshing sa nose nung amoy, nakakaadik. Anyways, Gabi gave me the glass with my requested drink on it.
Tif and I sat beside each other. We're watching Dionne and Gabi having photo ops with the bride and groom. That Brian guy's in the middle of Dionne and Gabi and they are laughing at the camera.
"Quinn the supermodel is finally here!" Sigaw nung isang friend nila.
Nakatingin parin ako kila Gabi na nakatingin naman doon sa bagong dating. Brian whispered something on Gabi's ear and the latter just shrug it off then immediately try to find my eyes and yes, of course, she succeeded. Her eyes sparks. She was about to walk but Ethan pulled him slightly.
"Another set of pics Gab, wala sa set kanina si Quinn." Sabi ni Ethan.
Gabi slightly turn to look at me, asking for permission. I nodded as an answer kaya umatras na siya ulit.
"Babe," Tiffy caught my attention for a bit. "That's the girl 'no?" I nodded. Parehas ulit kaming nanonood sa kanila. "Supermodel huh?" We both chuckled. Damn witches! Evils with a class. Winks.
Katabi ni Ethan si Gabi sa right side niya tapos katabi ni Gabi si Brian sa left side naman niya. Biglang nag request si Ethan ng by pairs naman with the groom and bride kaya gumilid na si Gabi at magpapahatak na sana kay Dionne nang biglang pinigil siya ulit ni Ethan at may sinabi na hindi ko narinig kasi may music na ulit.
Brian carefully pulled Quinn Salazar and told her na mag pics na sila kasi request daw ng newly weds 'yon at bawal daw tanggihan ang newly weds. My left eyebrow raised a bit.
I hissed.
Fuck this guys. Really.
Anyway, I'm still keeping my cool so that Gabi won't be mad with them if she notice na hindi ako comfy. I nodded again when she looked at me. I saw her sighed. I saw the uncomfy feeling on her eyes.
Gusto pa nila na magkatabi si Gabi and Quinn Salazar pero umiling lang si Gabi at sumenyas na sa photographer.
"Last request, Gab! Pic naman kayo ni Quinn!" Request nung bride. Tinukso na sila ng mga friends nila.
"Gurl, hindi ko sasagutin si Dionne kapag hindi niya talaga inunfriend in real life 'tong mga maninira ng relasyon na 'to!" Gigil na bulong ni Tif.
"Chill, Tif. Let's just chill here, my girl will handle this shitty scene." Nakangisi lang ako. Tumalikod na ako kaya ganoon din ang ginawa ni Tif. We're trying to eavesdrop in a gorgeous way. Like, we want them to see na we don't mind what's happening, but we actually do. Again, with a class.
