My Story: I Was There

I couldn't help but smile while browsing the photos I took for today. I think these are my best shots after weeks of practicing with my new toy. The fiery ball's reflection on the clear ocean made the water look on fire. Hours of waiting and setting adjustments were worth the photo I took.

"This is it! Ito na ang susi ko para makapasok," I proudly say, smiling from ear to ear.

This is my passion, my dream ever since I was a kid, to be a professional photographer. To be able to do that I need to make a portfolio that will be accepted at the modeling and photography company in the US.

My parents are still skeptical of my decision to shift course to pursue my passion. I tried to change their minds by presenting some famous photographers but they still refused to believe me.

"Key!

Maybe because he's the first child or.

We are having our vacation here in Cebu, for kuya specifically since he just passed the Physician Examination. After this, he will apply for a residency program that he's not yet sure which one to choose.

When we finally arrived at the resort, some hotel staff assisted us to bring our luggage to our respective rooms. Our rooms are located facing the crystal clear ocean which our mom suggested para raw makalanghap ng malinis na hangin ang si kuya. It's quite lucky for me since I can immediately find a subject just being outside the veranda.

I checked my room and it's pretty huge. It has a queen-size bed, it has a bathroom, a flatscreen television, and an air diffuser. I just hope the internet will be okay.

"Lamig," bulong ko nang pumunta sa veranda. I saw some people walking down at the seashore. It's already a bit dark.

I saw it was my mother.

"Ma," I answered and went back to my bed.

I silently sighed and got up.

I told him to get ready for the dinner dahil hindi kakain si mama kung wala si kuya. Told ya he's really the favorite one.
