She mumbled, looking at the mirror, inspecting the purple marks on her neck.

"But...how?"

"I should be asking you that."

Philza cocked an eyebrow with a scoff.

"Listen, Phil. I don't know how I got these, I swear."

"Oh, maybe XD did these? Since you were with him the whole day."

He was running out of patience.

"I don't remember him touching me... Oh, maybe it's just a bug's bite?"

"The bug's bite."

"Yes."

"Y/n, you can't be that dumb."

The male let out a deep sigh, pinching the bridge of his nose, a frown ghosting his features.

"Look, I don't know what happened as well. I'm as confused as you are."

Y/n snapped, gaze switching back to mirror, her fingers tracing the marks, her frame shuddering for some reason.

Think I'll have to talk with XD.

Phil thought to himself, frowning.

XD cried, body shaking with fury as he paced around, frowning.

"We'll fix this, XD-"

"You better do. And fast."

He sneered, stopping to glare at them from behind the mask.

How useless. How pathetic.

They couldn't manage a thing. What kind of gods are they even?

He came back only to hear this?

He needed to fix this.

Sneering, he exited the chambers, storming back to the library to pick some books he found necessary for his research and get out of here before he could snap.
