Chapter 5

Marinette was in her room for the past three hours making an unhackable mini bee camera.

"And done!!" Marinette exclaimed as she threw herself on the bed

In the living room

Kagami, Luka, Chloe and Nino we're currently having fresh pomegranate juice as a refreshment drink after their strenuous practice

"Let's go take a look at what Mari-hime is doing right now" Kagami said

Others nodded and they all headed upstairs for Marinette

Marinette heard footsteps approaching her room so she sat up from her laying position

"Hey guys!" Marinette smiled "done with your session?"

"Yeah" they all replied as Kagami and Luke sat on the couch in her room and Chloe and Nino sat beside herself

"What did you make this time?" Chloe asked as she picked up the bee camera

"It's a camera. This will help us keep an eye on our surroundings for hawkmoth" Marinette explained "I'll need you all's help you make some more of this. One can't do all the work"

"No issue" Kagami said

And they got to work

After a few days

Marinette was standing in her office which was located in Hiraeth HQ on the 22nd floor

She had just come out from a meeting with Chanel enterprise and was currently waiting for her team to arrive

The door opened indicating that someone had entered the office

"Miss Kagami and the others have arrived," Serena, Marinette's assistant announced

Marinette silently nodded and the assistant exited leaving Marinette and her friends in the office

"So what did you want to tell me" Marietta asked them as she ushered them to take a seat

They all nervously glanced at each other

"Spill it" Luka said

"So," Chloe started "we detected hawkmoth and his identity. Who is more likely to attack soon"

"Finally, the day we anticipated has appeared" Marinette said "I want us to be fully prepared and who is he behind the mask?"

"It's uh..." Kagami trailed off

"Gabriel" Nino finished

Marinette's eyes darkened

"Are u sure?"

"Yes we tracked each and every suspicion, it all lead to him albeit if we didn't study this case intently we would have missed it" Luka said

"Yes especially the point where we checked him out of suspects as he had gotten akumatised" Nino recalled

"I should have known he was the one after all he was the cause of Adrien's suffering" Chloe mumbled

"Alright guys, no time to spare, once we reach our base. No slacking off" Marinette spoke in a serious tone

"Yes!!" they all replied

As soon as they reached the mansion, they were on full alert.

Kagami sharpened the blades and some weapons in case they need them for extreme Akuma

Nino and Luka were on their laptops tracking the traces of places  hawkmoth could very likely attack and any sight of Akuma

Chloe was preparing power up eatables for each of their kwami

While Marinette was having a meeting with the kwami

"Marinette, after days of meditation and practice we have finished honing our capabilities" Tikki said "but Luka will be able to use them for a limited time"

"Yes, I understand" Marinette said "you are just in time, the final battle is just around the corner"

"I'm glad this is coming to an end finally sevens year of terror will end bringing peace to the Parisians and especially You" Tikki said comforting Marinette

"We don't even know if we'll win" Marinette bitter smiled

"I have fate in you" Tikki encouraged

Next day morning

Today everyone had dark circles under their bags they had just gotten 3hours of sleep which was fortunately possible due to the kwamis consistently pestering their holder to sleep. To which they finally gave in.

Presently they were heading down the hallways of their school heading to the classroom

"Here comes Mari-trash Alya snickered

"Marinette you are such a slut" Kim yelled "Lila told us that you used to pester Adrien despite him being uncomfortable, you were responsible for adriens death"

Hearing that Marinette felt a sudden surge of anger in her

"I didn't know you could be this cruel" Rose said with tears in her eyes

"How dare you low lives say that?" Chloe raged

"You have no right to say that, Adrien and marinette were in a relationship" Kagami said in an infuriating voice

The sheeps were about to reply when;

"No stop, let the dog bark" Marinette said in a piercing cold voice "a dog only barks when it can't bite in this case a bitch" she said directing at angry lila who only flowed her crocodile tears

Then they walked past the bullies and sat in their usual place which was at the back

At first, they didn't accept the fact that they were pushed back by some stupid liar. But they eventually realised the benefits of sitting at the back. They could observe the class without suspicion. Do whatever they want without anyone seeing. Etc.

The classes started as usual with Lila spouting lies Alya backing her up rose Mylene juleka providing emotional support Chloe retorting back at the comments Kim and I am trying to physically harm the three heroes; Chloe, Nino and Marinette as Luke and Kagami were a year older than them, they were in a distinct class. Then if Marinette were to say anything Mrs Bustier would scold Marinette about how she should be an example. Which was hilarious considering Mark wasn't even the class president she had long resigned from that position, but the old hag just had to spout nonsense.

During the lunch break, the Akuma class would harass Marinette to the extent of her leaving her meal in the middle and leaving the campus. And of course, her friends followed her suite.

"Bug, do you really have to tolerate her even now, when hawkmoth is on the verge of extinction" Chloe rolled her eyes

"Just a bit longer," Marinette said gritting her teeth "as soon as this battle is over I don't fuc**** care about her sh**"

"Woohoo!! Go, Mari!!" They all cheered and laughed

But their happiness was put on a stop by the akuma alert
