you didn't see me as just
a young football player from
england, a player with lots
of potential.

you saw me as jadon
sancho.

the look in your eyes as
you looked at me, those
beautiful eyes filled with
sparkles and admiration,
made me think that there
was more to me than just
being another young talent.

with you by my side, i came
to the realization that i was
my own person, different
than any footballer or other
human being in this cruel
world.

and even though the world
is a cruel place, you still loved
it, and with you by my side,
i learned to love it too.
