Why the hell I’m remembering our first? Tito Patrick…she is my High School Love
To think of it, I gave my hoodie to her, I will ask her about that it this Monday
“Zale! Are you okay?” dad suddenly enter in my room
“ Yes Dad I’m fine” and I smile at my father who looked at me with with some confusion “Do you need anything Dad?”
“Your smiling a lot, everything about your personality is smiling, I mean that’s good but, what’s the reason your smiling a lot?” instead of answering my father I just smile at him “Are you my son?”
“What do you mean by that, Mr. Lucas Matthew?” I asked annoyingly
“Because my son is not crazy, ni-isang kapamilya ng asawa ko wala namang baliw, at lalo naman sa amin”
“DAD!”
Unbelievable… is he my dad? He is laughing that loud? Looks like someone is crazy in our family
“Sorry!…oh I know why!…are you and Kallia official now”
“How can we be dating? I don’t even have her number, she doesn’t even have any social media, and Dad! Wag na po kayong makisali” and I even lowered my voice
“But you love her right? Patrick told me…she is not your crush anymore, and you don’t even like her”
I just stared at my dad and think of what he just said. And I admit…Kallia is not my crush anymore
“My life have been so much better, when she suddenly appeared in my life…Dad, those three little words…”
“You are not ready yet? Or you are afraid that you are not in the same page? Or she is already taken?”
Dad, I think I’m ready,maybe afraid to get rejected because this is the first time, that’s I don’t know if she is taken. She has that guy who visited at school and she let him hugged him
Since I didn’t say anything, dad gave me space and the next day dad also gave me some advice about it.
Monday came and I didn’t saw her during the morning break, but Kellix told me that she is present today. Luckily we have the earlier dismissal and I wait in front of their room
“Wow, how sweet of you my dear Cousin, waiting for me?” Ignore my cousin and straightly went in their room
And I saw her wearing her ear phone, I sat beside her but looks like she doesn’t care about my presence that to mention her eyes are closed
When the moment she open her eyes she, used her precious eyes who ask me something, but I only shake my head. But she stand up and get her bag
And of course I follow her, and she went to our usual spot in the roof top. We spend few minutes in silence
“Do you still have my black hoodie?” and she looked at my me and raised one of her eye brows “Lets have some lunch?”
“No thanks, I have my own…want me to return your hoodie? If you are hungry, eat”
“No its yours, why you are so cold to me?”
“Tsk” she grabbed her lunch box and she handed one of layer of her lunch box
“Thank you!…its delicious care to share how did you made it?”
“Nope!” she said it with an angry tone
“Did I do something wrong again?” I worriedly ask and she just kept eating “Hey-”
“Dame yo, dame dame” Kallia whisper something that I don’t understand, and suddenly a tear from her eyes fall, I wipe it and she looked down
