More Than Friends? || A Nanabuki Fanfic [DISCONTINUED]

2 | Chapter 2

Today was the day. It was the first day at Hope's Peak Academy and Chiaki was pretty much nervous about what the day would bring. It was still early in the morning and school didn't start untill   which gave her plenty of time to get ready and play some games before she had to leave.

However she was still very sleepy but she decided to change into her school uniform which was a brown blazer , brown skirt and a white school shirt.

After changing into her uniform , Chiaki went into the kitchen and made herself some breakfast. To her suprise her mother was already there and had already made breakfast for her.

"Good morning , I made your favourite today." Chiaki nodded in response as she sat down and started eating. Whilst she was finishing up her phone suddenly went off.

The time on her phone now read 7:04 am. It was time to leave for Hope's Peak. Chiaki grabbed her backpack and game console and headed for the door.

Before she left the house she was pulled into a hug by her mother which she returned. "Do your best out there ok.". Chiaki nodded , promising to do her best to make her proud.

After awhile Chiaki waved goodbye and left the house. It was a nice day outside. The sky was blue and the sun was shining bright. Chiaki continued to walk through the streets enjoying how quiet and peaceful things were.

A few minutes later she had finally arrived. She stood outside the gates of the school suddenly feeling nervous. The school looked really big when you see it up close and in person.

Chiaki stayed outside the gates clutching the straps of her backpack and decided to wait untill the crowds died down. She put on her headphones and pulled the hood of her jacked up as she leaned against the wall trying to ignore the crowds around her.

She didn't even realise almost everyone had gone inside untill she suddenly felt someone tap her on the shoulder. She jumped slightly at the sudden movement.

Next to her was a girl who had black hair with parts of it dyed blue , purple and white. She was wearing a sailor uniform with the Hope's Peak blazer over it. She also had a red gitaur which she had around her.

"Hey , hey!" The girl shouts causing Chiaki to automatically put her hands over her ears , a move which didn't go unoticed by the girl.

"Oh , Ibuki is sorry. Ibuki didn't mean to scare you." The girl who is Ibuki says lowering her voice.

Chiaki removed her hands from her ears and looked at the girl. She feels like shes seen Ibuki somewhere before. Then she suddenly remembers that she was the girl from the shopping center a few days ago.

"Ibuki says we have to go in before we are late." Chiaki nodded and let Ibuki grab her hand and followed her into the school.

They had enterd the doors and were now inside the building. They were in the main area where the reception desk was at. Ibuki showed Chiaki that they had to sign in and take a letter from the desk.

"Thank you for signing in and we hope you do your best at the academy." The womman at the desk said. They then wanderd around untill they saw what looked like another student and followed them untill they got to the assembly hall where those who were having their first day had to be.

Once they arrived , they both chose a space that was at the back of the hall. Soon everyone was silent as a man with black hair wearing a suit walked into the hall and stood facing the new students.

"Good morning everyone." He said " My name is Jin Kirigiri and I am the principal of Hope's Peak Academy. I would like to welcome our new students in class 77 to our academy. "

The rest of the assembly was nothing but being told how things worked at Hope's Peak , that it was great that you were chosen to attend. After all that Chiaki didn't pay attention to what was being addressed to everyone and reached for her game console that was sitting there the whole time.

"We hope you enjoy your time at Hope's Peak ." The assembly was now finally over as the pricipal walked out of the hall. A bunch of conversations suddenly and slowly started in a flash as students begun collecting their things and leaving the hall for their classes.

Soon enough conversations between students started up again as the hall begun to get busy. Chiaki stayed where she was and started up her game console to distract herself from the loud noises around her. The noise soon died down around ten minutes later as it was only her and a few others left in the hall.

She looked to her side to see that Ibuki had chosen to stay with her and wait which suprised Chiaki. Once things were calm enough Chiaki felt she was ready to go to class.

'This is it. Now starting my first class at Hope's Peak.' She thinks. She hopes that she can make a good first impression and get a good start to the day.

Chapter 2 is now finished. Its a bit longer than the last one but not long enough to call it a chapter. I'm also working on chapter 3 and that will hopefully be out soon.
